Quick, friendly and professional!
Dr. Fallis is an awesome doctor who truly cares about his patents. He saw me right as I came to the office this am. He took the time to listen to my complaints. It always s pleasur to deal with him and he helps you to best of his ability. I will recommend him to anyone. I wish other doctors were like him,
Dr. Fallis is an awesome, knowledgeable doctor. He is a tradional doctor who cares about the welfare of his patients. He takes the time to listen to you and you don't feel rushed. He works during the weekend at times, so that is a great thing. He is one of the most knowledgeable and best docs at Beth Israel, Mount Sinai in primary care.
Excellent physician. I highly recommend him. Terrific interaction.
Nurse takes Blood Pressure without a stethoscope. Dr. Fallis was excellent. Attentive, interested, and kind.
Always helpful and easy to talk to about ANY referrals, issues I am having that need treatment.
Dr. Fallis is a nice doctor who knows a lot. He is very much straight to the point with his diagnoses. As someone who has had trouble finding a decent doctor in the city, I recommend him and will be going back to him.
There was no support staff to take temperature, blood pressure, weight, etc. only Dr. Fallis. He did is best to get me in and out without rushing. Great attitude. Highly recommend, Dr. Fallis.
Great doctor, knowledgeable and explained things well without wasting time. Would definitely recommend.
He was great.
Very clear in the next steps, personable yet professional.
He's great at what he does. However, every, single time that I have had an appointment, I have waited, at the very least, 30 minutes. Today I waited an hour. It is obvious that the office overbooks and it is such a pain always having to wait. They should be more considerate of patients' time.
After two days of suffering through body aches, chills, and sore throat, I was ready to run to an Urgent Care clinic, but I checked whether my PCP Dr. Fallis had openings available before that and luckily he did. I arrived at the location about an hour and a half early, staff and nurses made an effort to take me in ASAP. I ended up seeing the doctor an hour earlier than scheduled.
Staff isn't great-----too busy and also insurance is a problem.
It was very fast, filled my prescription and recommended me to a specialist.
The doctor and nurse staff were great. The front office however was rude. They need some lessons on bedside manners.
Wonderful doctor. Great patient care and has a lovely manner. Thank you.
Direct and quick to explain the next steps, without being pushy or impatient.
Dr. Fallis is the best. No BS & gets you in & out with clear direction. Excellent.
Dr. Fallis is amazing. I'd highly recommend him to anyone that asks. His ability to listen and provide accurate and helpful information and guidance was extremely comforting.
I was very happy that I was able to get an appointment so quickly and was excited to be able to fill out new patient forms online -- though you did not need to have the medical proxy form which was on the of documents on the ZocDoc site (just an fyi so you don't waste time). I was seen in advance of my appointment, so that was very efficient which I appreciated. Dr. Fallis was nice but there were a few things about the exam and the office that I wasn't thrilled with. - I had called in advance asking the receptionist if I needed to be prepared with any information to give blood and they said no. When I arrived, they told me I had to call the insurance company on the spot to learn which lab would accept the results. It wasn't a huge deal but I was asked to do this multiple times during my visit and I wasn't sure how much time I had in between each time the doctor popped in and out so I found this distracting. It seemed like something the office staff could do with access to my insurance card information. - the team did not take my actual weight and height. They asked me what it was verbally -- though a scale was three feet away. I found this odd. - the physical exam itself felt very quick and on the surface. The doctor looked in my eyes and throat for 30 seconds and listed to my lungs. No other part of my body was examined -- not even my ears. I was also fully dressed, often times at physicals I've been asked to wear a gown. I'm not experiencing any pain or discomfort but as a new patient, I thought it was strange that they weren't more thorough for their own notes (I did not even have previous records transferred) -- so the conversation felt pretty blind. Overall, I would say this appointment was "fine" -- but not a practice that I will probably return to given the lack of personal interest I felt as a new patient.
He is very pleasant, well-mannered and easy to talk with, and he communicates clearly. He listened carefully, asked appropriate questions and answered my questions. He made a referral for me to a specialist in the Mount Sinai system. The office staff and attendants were super welcoming and helpful. I was there on a Sunday when they are the least busy.
Dr. Fallis has been my PMC for years and he has a very good bedside manner, is always willing to listen and help and seeing him is a very necessary part of my medical routine. Thank you, Caroline
The wait was because the front desk took a long time to process me for my appointment. Once I saw the doctor, he was fast, professional, easy-going. He listened to what I needed and was quick to help me.
Great visit, I came in for my annual physical and Dr. Fallis was friendly, and time efficient. The appointment was a breeze. Thanks!
The office on 34th street has you fill out this paper form with senstive information EVERY TIME you go. Even when you booked on this website, even when the website uploads your insurance card. It is rather medival in this day and age. The doctor is really friendly and attentive. Not so great on after visit communications, but lets just attribute that to the winter holidays?
Way too long of a wait. The clinic is not adequately utilizing their Epic system. They need to adjust their scheduling process to schedule resources based on type and availability. (For example, so I do not wait downstairs only to be told they do not have a nurse working and to be sent upstairs. This is something the front desk staff should have told me.) They also need to start entering orders directly in the system. (For example, so I don't carry a paper script upstairs to get a shot.)
The Doctor and nurse where very prompt and friendly. I did not have to wait at all once seated in a patient room. Admin staff seemed a little disorsngized.
Quick, efficient and an overall pleasure to interact with.
My technician was excellent. She took blood, ekg, & blood pressure with ease. Very friendly, as I have a fear of needles.
The doctor was friendly, professional and efficient. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.
I didn't feel rushed, yet Dr. Fallis was very straight to the point! I'd come back for my next physical.
Very friendly office staff and enjoyable experience for new patient.
Nice guy, good service, knows exactly what he's talking about.
Dr. Fallis is a thorough and accessible doctor, with an excellent bedside manner and always wiling to help with general care issues. He's my primary doctor for 4 years now and I trust him.
Not worth the time or money. Not impressive at all.
The doctor was very helpful and the appointment was straight to the point and fast, he was very informative on treatment. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and went through the paperwork in detail to make sure I did everything correctly.
Considerate, paid attention to my medical situation, offered constructive advice
Awesome. Quick. A good guy.
Front desk staff is very slow and disorganized - waited over an hour for my appointment to start because one of the receptionists misplaced my check-in form. Same thing happened to two other patients waiting at the same time I was.
The delay was partly my own fault, as there was an issue getting in touch with my insurance company. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Dr. Fallis was fidgety, and he seemed rushed, like he just wanted to get the appointment over with. All in all, I spent five minutes with him, and it would have been shorter had I not asked several questions. I didn't feel reassured or informed by his vague answers. I would not make an appointment to see him again.
5 pages of paperwork for a new client before I could see the doctor. The office only uses ZocDoc for scheduling, not for paperwork. New clients should arrive 15 minutes early and be ready to provide your complete medical history.
Prompt appointment, doctor was aware of previous visits and treated me very well.
Great doctor and pleasant office staff. Felt very comfortable with him on my first visit.
Excellent Bedside Manners. Awesome doctor
Wait time not bad. Good bed side manners.
It was great, he was kind, service was fast.
Very friendly helpful and timely. Great job.
Very helpful, great doctor.
I was very unhappy to wait 45 minutes for my appointment today. I arrived on time but was not seen by the doctor for 45 minutes which made me late for work.
EXCELLENT, THE BEST
He seemed like a very good Dr. I am very critical of bedside manner and Dr.s who treat you like a number, but he was very good and I definitely recommend him.
It was delightful and professional.
My visit to Dr. Fallis was quick and easy. I filled out my documents prior to my appointment; signed in and was quickly seen. He listened to my needs and was able to assess the situation.
Quick but good!
attentive, friendly, focused on my health issues and what solutions would be appropriate
Talked over me when I described my symptoms. Spent less than two minutes with me before sending in a nurse to get blood. Only commented on test results saying ‘these lab results are normal’ and didn't address any of the symptoms I explained. Overall terrible experience and a waste of time.
Dr Fallis was thorough, caring, and prompt.
Quick and easy appointment. Dr. Fallis was great.
Dr. Fallis was fantastic. I went for my annual physical, and he conducted a thorough examination without rushing the process. He was friendly, attentive, and professional. The nurse who conducted my blood work was great as well. I have a mild fear of needles, but it was quick and painless. He even found an error I made in my insurance forms that could have cost me a lot of money! The only suggestion I would give is the wait time. I scheduled a 4:00 appointment, but did not get called until at least 4:30.
It was great, he was very pleasant.
Dr Fallis has been my Dr for many years now and I feel very comfortable in his care. I can walk-in without a appointment and still be seen in a timely manner.
Dr Fallis was helpful, understanding, patient, and very willing to help
I came a little early with all new patient paperwork filled out. I still ended up sitting for 30 minutes. I understand that backups occur but that is why I took one of the first appointments of the day. Patients with appointments should always take precedence over non- emergency walk-ins. The appointment was otherwise pleasant. The front desk, nurses, and blood tech were all great, as was Dr. Fallis.
I highly recommend him. Dedicated, old-fashioned doctor. Professional, thorough, conscientious and friendly. Takes time to explain to patient.
Dr. Fallis was very pleasant and attentive to my issue.
Dr. Fallis was incredible. So nice. He listened to me and still got me in and out in 30 minutes.
I called to inform them I was going to be late to only have my call go directly to a voice recorder. I left a message stating I was running late due to my X-ray results. When I finally show up (approx. 10 minutes) the receptionist had no clue who I was or listened to my message. I finally received my consultation after 45 minutes of waiting!
I've been a patient for years. Dr. Fallis is always professional and on point. He provides prompt service for calling in prescriptions to the pharmacy and speaking with the insurance company for pre-authorization of medication. Also, the front desk staff was very helpful and courteous with helping to correct a medical bill overcharge mistake from my last visit. Highly recommended.
Friendly, quick, thorough, efficient.
Dr fall is was professional and pretty much on time. I didn't go in for anything complicated (ear infection) but diagnosis was right on and I was in and out quickly with prescription. Would definitely recommend.
He's very direct and too the point. Super nice but not over talkative. I like him as my primary Doctor.
Dr. Fallis was perfectly fine but I felt like I received impersonal care. I was a new patient and would have liked if the doc spent more than 2 minutes with me. He was in and out in seconds and I felt like my concerns about my own healthcare were not answered.
Just a normal physical, in & out.
Dr. Fallis was very nice & responsive to my situation.
Dr. Fallis was quick, but unlike most doctors in NYC, he actually listened to me and treated me like a person. So many doctors hear one symptom and then just brush you off and assume they know the answer, but he listened patiently, and provided the referral I needed for what was ultimately a serious condition that required surgery that previous doctors kept brushing off. I only saw him for a few minutes, but he was a good doctor.
Took care of me immediately. Provided a good assessment, and recommended course of treatment. Made sure that I understood all options to treatment. Very quick, I was in and out of the office in the course of a few minutes.
My heart likes him. That is all it took.
Efficient, thorough, no nonsense.
It is actually a shame - coming out of my appointment I absolutely would have recommended Dr. Fallis but everything following the appointment has been an absolute nightmare. I went in for an annual physical, which should be fully covered under my insurance. After receiving an exorbitant amount of bills and spending hours upon hours on the phone it was determined that they put the information in wrong as if Dr. Fallis was not in network when he was. They negated some of the bills for the appointment but apparently NONE of the blood work that he ordered was covered by my insurance (United Healthcare) as part of an annual physical so I am still stuck with all of these lab bills because nobody bothered to check to ensure that the tests were considered part of the physical. It has been 4 months and I am still arguing this matter. The frustration of dealing with this office is not worth it - highly recommend going elsewhere.
Everything went great. The staff was really helpful getting all my information accurate and it was very easy. Highly recommend!
Overall the experience was great and doctor Fallis very nice and explicative.
Went to see Dr. Fallis for immunizations before my trip to India in six months. He was very helpful, going over the vaccines and medications I need for the trip!
No qualms about the doctor, but the front office staff was quite unpleasant. Very snippy and more interested in lecturing me on why I shouldn't use ZocDoc than getting me in to see the physician.
The front office handled me slowly and poorly. They were not ready for my ZocDoc appointment. Medically everything was excellent. I like my doctor.
My doctor is always on point get to source !!!!??
Despite the outdated office and the archaic stack of forms from 1980 that took me 25 minutes to fill out, Dr. Fallis and his LPN, Beverly, more than made up for it. Bedside manner and helpfulness was top notch! I just needed pre op clearance because my primary doc (also with Beth Israel) was too busy to see me :( Dr. Fallis (and Beverly) took such great care of me, I might just go back for other stuff in the future.
Nice guy. Very nice nurse. Office itself / front desk just OK.
front office staff was cold and kept calling me by another name. perhaps if they actually looked at my chart they would have been able to read my name. DR was fine.
It was very good. I started having stomach issues. He examined me and recommending some relief medicine untill I could see a specialist. Put my mind at ease. Very professional and took his time.
Dr. Fallis was both thorough and thoughtful in his diagnosis and suggested treatment. I also found the appointment booking process to be hassle-free. I highly reccomend!
Dr. Fallis was very nice, he checked my vital signs and confirmed my symptoms efficiently and was able to prescribe something that will help me to get better.
All's good. Make him your primary care physician.
As a 40 year old "know it all", I am probably not the easiest patient. Dr Fallis was very friendly to talk to, knowledgeable and unexpectedly comforting. Highly recommended.
Overall a decent visit and since this was my first time seeing Dr. Fallis, I think that the level of conversation was very appropriate. I will continue to see Dr. Fallis and I consider him very professional.
Very nice and understanding. Didn't try to push me to get blood work or EKG's or anything he could bill to my insurance - which was really refreshing. Also the staff was super friendly - the ladies at the front desk, the nurses - everyone was delightful. I will be going back here.
I go to Dr. Fallis for yearly physicals. He's very thorough, efficient and knowledgeable. I don't look forward to dr. visits in general, but know that I can expect a hassle free visit and get all of my questions answered with Dr. Fallis. No complaints.
Dr and office staff were very nice
Made an appointment week ahead for the earliest appointment. Waited for the office to open only to be informed that they were unsure if they could take my insurance. However on their website they are affiliated with the same medical group I've been going to but couldn't do so this time because the hours conflicted. The receptionist was attentive but just couldn't help. This was something that should have and could have been sorted before make the effort to travel and waste my time.
Nice staff , nice doctor !
He's the man.
My current illness he was very polite efficent and I did not have to wait. I was in and out very quick which was important since I was on my lunch hour. Office location is very comcvienent.
Dr Fallis is always attentive and takes the right course of action to address my concerns. I can't speak about or for the other doctors at that office but I am sure glad I chose Dr Fallis as my primary care physician.
Dr. was fine. But made an appointment and showed up 15 minutes early for paperwork as requested. then waited 45 minutes to see the Dr. Wait time totally unacceptable. Will not use ZocDoc again.
I walked into the office and the first thing I noticed was how badly the facilities were kept. The cabinets were broken and rusted over, the signs were broken and in disrepair. Certainly not a place I felt comfortable in. The receptionists were rude and not helpful. Would not recommend.
I probably spent about 10 mins maximum speaking with Dr. Fallis and was mostly seen by the nurse who has an excellent bedside manner. Dr. Fallis himself was easy to talk to and funny, but I didn't feel like he was really listening to my health concerns. My main issue however, is with his office staff. I've asked to confirm if I owed a balance at the end of the appointment and was assured I didn't. A couple of weeks later I received a bill. I placed in complaints about the serious negative side effects from my prescription weeks later - I was close to fainting several times a week at that point so I was becoming concerned. The staff refused to put me on the phone with a nurse or a doctor. I left messages and had called several times a week to speak with someone to no avail. I stuck it up and continued use. I was only given 2 refills and called to have a renewal of a higher dosage which the staff assured me I didn't have to come in for another apt for and that it would be filled. Nothing. Pharmacist wasn't even contacted. I'm now looking to switch doctors because of the incompetence of the administrative staff. Not to mention the obnoxious attitude that I was given by them each time I spoke with someone from their staff. Don't bother coming here unless if you want to be given the runaround. Only saving grace was the nurse that took care of me.
I arrived to my appointment 15 minutes early and saw the doctor 45 minutes late - an hour wait. When Dr Fallis brought me back, he did a 2 minute physical thay consisted of just listening to my breath and then left saying he'd be back to take my blood. 20 minutes later a nurse came in to take my blood. 15 minutes later Dr Fallis came back to say I could go. Not only was everything running so far behind, but I felt he didn't pay me the proper attention a doctor should.
Awful staff. Long wait
I was greeted by a happy doctor. He made my visit comforting.
Arrived 20 minutes before my appointed time -- way off after my expected time. Waited more than an hour to be called, everyone else in the waiting room was called. When I asked why the delay, they told me that I was called a couple of times and I did not respond. And I was all the time inside that small room!!! That medical office is not giving good service at all. Few months ago, I tried to speak with the doctor regarding a referral to a surgeon and whoever answered the phone put me on hold and was disconnected. Then, I called again and nobody picked it up. After I was called to have my annual physical, the nurse that came to draw blood, picked a very thin vein to do the job, and then told me that he picked up the wrong vein and had to pinch me again. on a very thick vein that he had done it the year before. Don't think I will be at ease going to that office again.
Frustrated - Made an appointment and still waited over an hour to see my doctor.
Dr. Fallis was excellent but I waited an hour before the staff told me that they did not have my confirmed ZocDoc appointment in the system. If you make an appointment with ZocDoc, I strongly recommend that you call them before going to the office as they don't seem to be hooked up correctly to the system.
I like all the doctors at this practice. Dr Fallis is great. The front office staff could definitely use some basic customer service skills.
Dr. Fallis is the Man. He listens & always takes care of you.
They were dealing with a fouled-up system changeover and I feel for all of them in that office. I did have to wait for my appointment and very pleased with Dr. Fallis himself.
Doctor is fast but the wait is way to long.
The receptionists were very rude and there was a long wait although I had an appt,The male nurse was someone I had seen before. On a previous occasion he dropped the height measurer on my head with enormous force & I fell down. I developed an enormous bump &was actually advised to sue.(I had a severe stroke 14 years ago-it'snot a good idea to slam something on my head) He was awful. However,Dr. Fallis was extremely cordial and professional as usual. He is the only reason I stayed for that appt and would ever return.
I made an appointment through ZocDoc and ended up waiting for more than one hour to see the doctor. When i went in I saw the doctor for 5 minutes.
With Docs of 34th Street it does not seem to make any difference whether you make an appointment or not, it still takes 30 mins for the admin staff to call you for payment, then you have another 15 mins + before you see a doc for at most 5 mins!!! I thought they were upgrading their system! Very disappointed
While waiting an excessive amount of time, I heard several patients arrive and voice the same sentiment.... "What's the point of an appointment if I'm going to have to wait 60-90 minutes?". I thought I'd been sent back to the past. I was handed a STACK of papers that were copies of copies of copies to fill out, after already typing in much of this data into my appointment request. Is it 1912? Finally, while Dr. Fallis was nice, when I mentioned that I'd had flu-like symptoms 2 days prior, isn't taking my temp just standard practice. I waited 90 minutes for 3 minutes with the doc. While it was helpful to address my primary concern, there were a few steps that I felt got missed.
It was great!!!
The waiting time was a little too long (+30 mn) - considering the fact that I booked an appointment ahead. Dr Fallis and Beverley, the nurse, are great though. That's the reason why I came back.
Everyone was really nice. The office was well kept. The doctor was funny and I felt comfortable.
Went for Rx refills and he did that instantly. I also expressed some problems I had, some potentially serious, and he didn't seem to want to do anything about it. He told me to try to get tests.... Isn't that his job? Asked him for a referral and he told me to go online.
Dr Fallis was prompt and efficient but the appt seemed very rushed (maybe because my issue was straightforward). Front office staff was knowledgeable. Only complaint is the office seems old and needs refurbished, badly.
Very business-like consultation. Dr. Fallis is efficient.
Excellent Doctor and staff! Considering I was late due to public transportation they took immediately. Doctor Fallis was great and took his time to explain my concerns. Love the fact that my results will be available online.
The office itself wasn't the cleanest I have seen, but it was satisfactory. I was very surprised to get a pile of paperwork to fill out upon arriving, especially since I have filled out paperwork ahead of time via ZocDoc, and other offices have used this information to prefill most if not all of their forms. This office does not seem to have adopted modern conveniences such as ZocDoc's online tools. Some of the front desk staff was not very friendly (mainly the gentleman that had me fill out paperwork), but Dr. Fallis and his nurse were professional and thorough. I did end up waiting quite a bit (I finally saw the doctor about 20 minutes after my actual appointment time), and I waited a couple other times during the visit.
Very friendly, direct, listened to what I had to say and answered all my questions. Gave me a referral to a specialist.
Dr. Fallis is attentive and respectful and everyone in his office is professional and efficient.
Dr. Fallis was extremely professional and very helpful. Highly recommended!
Dr. Fallis was very nice, personable, direct, and down to business. With my busy schedule I can appreciate courteous professionalism.
He was great!
Dr Fallis is and excellent, thorough and professional physician.
He was great- straight forward and honest.
Very professional and discreet. Would go back to again.
The Dr was very nice, and I didn't feel rushed. My usual pain point when seeing a doctor is having blood drawn (I hate having blood drawn!). His phlebotomist (Beverly) was very kind and quick with the procedure.
Dr. Fallis is intelligent, quick and no nonsense. I appreciated his straight to the point manner. The reception staff were pretty unprofessional and a little rude. But the guy who took my blood was great. He was funny, fast, and was good at distracting me during the process.
Thought he was very on point and discussed the issues I had in a friendly, patient manner. Good demeanor for a doctor and his prescription solved my problem.
This was my first time visiting Dr. Fallis. I was looking for a new primary care doctor. For me it's important to find a doctor who cares about his patients, even his new ones. Someone who is reliable. So I gave him a try. I was in desperate need of help considering I had been suffering from what I thought was a headache and severe joint pains for 3 days. He saw me for no more than 10 minutes total. He asked me a few questions regarding my symptoms and medical history. Then left me in the room while he took the time to attended other patients in other examination rooms. The medical assistant was the only one who took his time checking my vital signs, comforted me and was genuinely concerned since I was in pain, and recommended that I go to the emergency room. When Dr. Fallis finally returned to the room he made reference to possibly seeing a neurologist, prescribed a painkiller, and sent me home because I had a fever. He said he couldn't really tell me what was going on until the lab work came back and to call him the following day by noon for next steps. I called and left a message twice and on the third call they told me he had left for the day. With no next steps and desperate for relief I went to the emergency room where I was told I had a severe kidney infection. I was admitted for 4 days under treatment. In those four days I STILL did not receive a call from Dr. Fallis to let me know if my lab results came back. I received one call a week after my visit to Dr. Fallis's office by one of the medical receptionists. I returned the call but no one called me back. Had I waited for someone to call me, I would have been in much worse conditions. I understand that doctors are busy with the overwhelming amount of patients but this was an urgent situation and needed at least a phone call to let me know if something came back on my lab results. Don't give me hope that I might get an answer tomorrow when you never planned on calling me at all. To make matters worse, I was told I needed to see him again to have a urine analysis done to make sure the infection was gone. However, from one week to the next, I find out he is no longer in my network. And now I'm left looking for another primary doctor. Overall I felt like he didn't care much for what I was going through and his negligence demonstrated that. Hopefully I'll have better luck with another doctor.
Dr Fallis is quick, thorough and very professional. He always answers any questions I have and has a great bedside manner. I highly recommend him!
Dr. Fallis and everyone in his office was great. I went in for an annual physical and he covered all the bases and was warm and efficient.
Extremely smart, knowledgable doctor. I've seen Dr Fallis on more than 1 occasion( pre-travel immunizations, and once for an illness) and have had zero complaints. Answers all my questions and makes you feel assured and peace of mind.
Not bad. Seems like a curious and smart doctor. However, he was a bit rushed. I'll see him again for sure.
Straight forward and helpful answering my questions.
I think he was great... A bit speedy though but awesome doctor!
Dr Fallis was great - personable and thorough, even though I spoke with him for less than five minutes. The facility itself is pretty terrible though.
Quick and efficient
Knowledgable and personable. I've found my primary care doctor!
He was appropriately interested and responsive to what I was saying.
I though Dr. Fallis was very pleasant and efficient. I had an annual checkup, so there was no real diagnosis required. I still thought he was one of the better PCP's I've been to.
Very nice, answered all questions
Dolores, my nurse, was very pleasant and made nice conversation while taking blood. The doctor was very polite and attentive. He didn't stay with me long, but I didn't feel like he glossed over me by any means.
Waited for over 30 minutes, but Dr. Fall is went as quickly as he could and was great.
Same day booking, PCP (Chuey on 23rd St) was unavailable, Dr. Fallis is in the same practice (but 34 St location). Given 5-day Z-pack (azithromycin) for chest/nasal congestion, Dx bronchitis; returning today as symptoms persist (3 days since end of antibiotics). Dr. Fallis was quick & professional. The front office seemed a little disorganized. (Possibly they only print their scheduled bookings in the morning & don't show same day additions?)
I've been a patient of Dr. Fallis for several years and frankly, I won't go to anyone else. He and I have a good rapport and I like his no-nonsense approach.
Good overall visit - seemed a little rushed probably because he was busy
He is a great doctor, thorough, accurate and fast!
I love Dr Fallis! He has a great bedside manner. You tell him what's bothering you and he gets you on your way in no time. Very thorough!
Very simple and quick!
He was professional and accurate, maybe a tiny bit quick to get me out of the room but ok, he's busy!
Everyone in the office was very helpful. In particular, Dr. Fallis was quick to provide useful insights and treatment options. Overall, I was very pleased with my experience.
I was anticipating a longer wait. Normally my experience with a family doctors office is craziness, especially one with the Beth Isreal name in midtown Manhattan but it was nothing like that. Receptionist was helpful and polite and I was in an out in two hours. Keeping in mind I was a new patient and had a complete physical, not bad.
The office seemed very busy today, and one of the admins commented that it was unusually busy. I was seen approx 45 minutes after my appointment was scheduled for. Dr. Fallis was pleasant and approachable and efficient. First visit so do not have much more to add. Admin and Assistant nurse all pleasant and professional. Good facilities,
Dr. Fall is is a very efficient and competent doc who validates your experience and offers kind, capable care. And his office staff seem comfortable with ZocDoc appointment booking.
Easy to deal with. Great doctor
As always, my visit to Doctor Fallis was a pleasure. No wait time, great bedside manner.
Very professional and explained all the procedures very clearly.
Always good. Never an issue
Wait time seemed pretty long since no one was in the office waiting. But it was my first time there and perhaps the doctor was reviewing my paperwork (had it completed when i arrived) prior to calling me back to the exam room. Everyone was professional and helpful. Dr. Fallis was great and took care of everything I needed.
He is an excellant and concerned Doctor. He spends time with his patients and make Dr visits extremely comfortable.
Dr. Fall is is by far the best primary care physician I have ever had.
First time here - Dr. Fallis is a pro. No wait, very direct, very helpful, and had actual opinions, which is what I look for in a primary care doc.
Great staff. The doctor and the physician assistant were both professional, helpful and efficient. Office was organized, and clean. Overall, a better than typical primary care visit.
Even though I moved out of NYC I still go to dr. Fallis because you gotta have a first rate health care doctor.
Felt very rushed in my appointment and not in there for more than 5 minutes
Very nice guy, very knowledgeable and very on top of all the paperwork/testing/administrative stuff you don't want to have to worry about.
Articulate & smart about my medical situation. Cautious but with an activist's point if view. A good combination.
Waiting in the office was a bit of a pain, as I watched a walk-in meet the doctor right before me, but once I saw the doc things were fine. He was really quick and to the point, which was fine considering I ran out of work for this. Though I am hoping he's got a little few more minutes next time around!
Dr. Fallis is a friendly, excellent doctor. He doesn't act like he is above you because he is doctor, he doesn't judge, he'll listen to what you have to say, but he will also shoot you straight. All around a great doctor!!!
Office was disorganized and quite slow. They supposedly didn't have any of my ZocDoc information because of "the system [blah blah blah]". The doctor seemed unconcerned when this was brought to his attention and seemed a little too hasty. 30 minutes for paperwork should not be part of the equation when using ZocDoc.
Been my doctor for five years. Never let me down once.
Listened and understood next steps.
Visit was good, though there was a big wait between seeing the doctor and seeing the nurse. The nurse, Aisha, was absolutely wonderful with a great bedside manner. Dr. Fallis was quick and efficient, while still taking the time needed to ensure my questions were answered and needs were met.
Dr. Fallis listens well and is never in a rush with you. He has been my doctor for 4 years and still see him even though I moved to New Jersey.
My visit today (and every visit) was very pleasant. The Dr. was attentive, the nurse Beverly was phenomenally pleasant and warm lastly John Carlos is a wonderful addition to Dr. Fallis' staff. John Carlos was very professional and warm. 5 Stars for each of them!
Dr. Fallis has always been very easy going and easy to talk to, very friendly doctor who will listen to what you have to say!
professional, appropriate, friendly
Nice guy. He was behind, so he didn't really examine me carefully, saying that I'm young. No big deal, but I was surprised.
Excellent consulation. Thank you.
He has been my PCP for over 3+ years. :)
Great doctor. Takes the time to really understand the issues and works with you on a resolution. A doctor that cares.
very efficient and helpful
He is a medical rock star!
Extremely efficient, bordering on too efficient. Agree with a lot of the reviews that you don't get a lot of time with him, but all of my questions were addressed and I never felt like I was just sitting around waiting for things to happen. The phlebotomist was fantastic and the process was overall very smooth. His style suits me well, as I'm not one to go to doctors unless there's a problem - he finds the problem and gets you back to your life.
It was an excellent visit.
Dr. Fallis is an easy-going, professional doctor. He is always helpful with all questions and concerns. Always had positive experiences.
Quick and to the point.
They were relatively fast in getting me into the appt but it also felt like they were trying to get me in and out. I had lots of questions for the doctor and he was obviously in a hurry to get me out of the room and onto the next patient. He was definitely rushing me out which I was not very happy with.
Efficient and to the point. I'd use Beth Israel again, and him again.
Wait time was tolerable, and front desk staff was polite and helpful. The nursing staff was also friendly and the check-up was smooth and simple. Although my time with Dr. Fallis was quick, it was adequate for what I was there for.
Quick, helpful, and listens
Very disappointing. Went to Dr. Fallis for a sick visit b/c my regular primary care physician was booked. He did not listen to my lungs, look in my ears or nose for flu like symptoms. Simply took my temperature and prescribed a Z-pack of antibiotics in 2 minutes. Did not have time to answer questions about treating my other symptoms. I would not recommend Dr. Fallis.
Very helpful, very attentive! Staying with Fallis indefinitely.
Great Doctor. Thorough, friendly and on-time.
very friendly and personable. Efficient visit but did NOT feel like I was being rushed out like at other doctors offices
Great and quick visit, the receptionists were great as well. Most importantly they were quick and friendly, not your typical snarky with inconvenienced attitudes. Highly recommended.
Very direct, kind and helpful. He understands that people tend to be in a rush so no point wasting your time. All around good service
If you want a quick no nonsense doctor who will listen to your issue and have you out in 5 minutes, this is the guy for you. Came in with a bad cold and left with antibiotics before I even had time to think about it. For some people, this might be ideal. For me, I want someone who has time to talk about the condition.
I scheduled my appointment about a month in advance, but when I arrived, the receptionist said that he was on vacation and that someone should have called me. I waited for about an hour for another doctor to see me, and all I needed was a prescription refill. When I actually saw Dr. Fallis, he was great, quick, and professional. I just hope his office lets me know the next time my appointment is scheduled during his vacation.
Very good. Got right to the point, got me what I needed, and got me out quickly. Just what I was looking for.
It was a quick physical but no complaints.
Excellent and to the point while still being meaningful and helpful in answering all my healthcare questions and understanding some of the issues I've come to him to discuss. Very thorough doctor, and patient.
Straight and to the point! Friendly and professional.
It was not a waste of time as some might say. While he cannot be like my doctor of 8 years, he's still pretty close to being a decent doctor. I would definitely see him again.
Satisfied. The wait was reasonable and he got to the point quickly, which had me in and out of the examination room in minutes.
I enjoy my visits with Dr Fallis. I am glad that he is my primary care physician.
Informative, concise, personable. Definitely recommend.
Really nice doctor, didn't ask too many questions but knew exactly what was wrong. The clinic is great and quick
great doctor! friendly, cares about what he is doing - and quick
He was great as always. The reception area was a bit slower than usual (in the past I was always seen within just a couple minutes of my appointment time- this time it was about 35 minutes after my scheduled time).
Dr Fallis was as always courteous, friendly and professional. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the reception area personnel who were rude, unfriendly and extremely unprofessional. I almost walked out. It is not too much to ask a receptionist to properly handle my paperwork rather than babble endlessly on the phone a half hour after I walk in.
Have been seeing him for years, he is always professional, courteous, and informative. This was my first time using zoc doc, made scheduling appt very easy.
Another good one... Quick In and out
This was my first visit to Dr. Fallis. I was looking for a new family doctor and he will be the one! The office is conveniently located to my work office which is one of the reasons I was looking for a change. The main reason though is that Dr. Fallis, from the moment I met him, was very personable, reassuring and attentive. The office personnel is also very cordial and efficient. I highly recommend him.
Very personable and friendly. Knowledgeable and helpful.
He was very professional n cares what his patient has to say
Dr Fallis and the staff were all terrific. The office and facilities are not at all premium (dated and not especially clean) but they use it well.
The wait time was well withing an acceptible time frame for me however, my concern is that he doesn't wash his hands once he arrives in the room to examine me.
It was a very straightforward visit, so there wasn't really much conversation needed, but he was friendly and efficient. I'm sure if my problem had needed more of a discussion it would have gone equally well.
dr was good, little rushed, dirty lobby and reception and very unfriendly desk staff, short and unpersonal, not caring about their patients/guests, i felt very unwelcome being received like that.. and wanted to get out asap, i like to go where i feel people will help me with good intentions..as i rarely go to visit a dr this is definitely not an office i like to visit again (even though the dr was fine...i guess he is not in control of the way they manage personal and pr
professional , responsive, very nice
Dr Andrew Fallis was great, I will definitely go back for another visit.
Dr. Fallis is a very prompt doctor who tailors medical treatment to the patient. Dr. Fallis trusts the patient to know what he/she needs.
He's a great doctor, quick and easygoing!
Easy to get appointment. No surly receptionist/office people. Never wait long. An efficient operation they've got going.
Dr. Fallis was very professional and had a nice manner. The only unfortunate element was the 30-minute wait. I thought that booking with ZocDoc would result in a minimal wait time, but the receptionist told me their computers had been down for some time today (7/9). I'll be wiling to try again and hope for a better result.
I thought the physical was not thorough, I felt pawned off and there was no follow up inquiry after referring me to other doctor's in the same building.
Dr. Fallis has always handled my cases with great care and efficiency.
I have been seeing Dr Fallis since 2010 and he is amazing. He listens to everything you have to say and takes the time to understand the issues /problems.
Even after speaking with me about my ailment, he called my mobile phone to give me an update (re x-ray), which I did not expect. The contents of the update was not a huge deal but I certainly felt even better knowing that I am in good hands!
Excellent and professional
Dr Fallis is great - friendly and informative. He's really energetic and can talk very fast, so sometimes I have to ask him a question again to make sure I get all the info:) but he is always happy to repeat and make sure I understand. Highly recommend!
Thorough, patient and quick. Seems open to hearing my concerns about my health
Been my doctor for five years for a reason. He listens and heals you
Very satisifed...prompt, attentive..
He issued a new prescription for Prednisone that I needed In order to have a CT scan with contrast, scheduled for May 24th. Left the office without getting a new prescription for stomach acid. The request was included in the appointment form that I filled out,
Attentive, responsive to needs & problems. Very nice & informative.
I have had HIP for 34 years (i attended the same HIP Center in BKLYN for those 34 years) and I have dealt with some of the worse Dr.'s, nurses and Office assistance located there . Dr. Fallis, the LPN's and the office assistance at Beth Israel are definitely a breath of fresh air. LPN Beverly (LNU) is exceptionally professional and has a wonderful disposition. This visit thanks to everybody involved and especially LPN Beverly was the quickest, and nicest visit that I have every had while being insured by HIP. A great group of professional's. Even the woman in the Mammography scheduling office was a dear. Thank you, thank you each and everyone that I came into contact with this morning (5/22/13) Juliette Freeman
good follow up with my kidney issue
Quick and efficient. Listened and gave suggestions.
Very nice. Seems to know what he is talking about.
Dr. Fallis was fast and efficient and I believe accurately diagnosed my illness and treated it appropriately.
So glad I found Dr Fallis on ZocDoc. I have been seeing him for over 2years now and he is great!
Great doctor! Would definitely recommend
Dr. Fallis was great. I was frustrated a bit by how the staff talked and laughed loudly in the halls about the weather, the air conditioning in the office, etc while there were several ppl waiting to be helped. Would suggest that they keep it down around patients or save the conversation for a break room.
Professional and fruitless at the same time.
Spent less than 5 minutes with me.
I was disappointed. I have been trying to find a Primary Care Physician and also neededto know why my back was with rash and pain in one muscfle. I really did not get anything out of this doctor, not even a blood pressure and pulse. I did get a mucsle relaxer and a goodbye. I bought my very recent lab results and showed them to him. I asked him if he would like to make a COPY. i did not even sit down when he saw me. I was standing and lifted up the side of my sweater to show the doctor my back. i felt that he was swinging to get out of the room. I will not go back to him again.
Doctor is fine. Frontdesk staff could be friendlier. Perhaps I caught them both on a bad day!
Amazing support staff! Very efficient. Will be returning when needed.
Super nice, smart and efficient. Thanks!
Very nice, informed & responsive
Quick, professional. Was rushed, but can't complain when I make a same day appointment
I felt like he couldn't get me out of his office fast enough, barely let me ask any questions.
It went great. He is very understanding and a wonderful doc.
Very quick and to the point. Small wait in the waiting room, but time in the exame room was quick and efficient.
I had an appointment and arrived early to fill out paperwork. The receptionist gave me the wrong paperwork, so by the time I finished, I was a little late, considering Dr. Fallis schedules a new appointment every 15 minutes. After a 45 minute way, he only saw me for five minutes and gave me medicine that I'm sensitive to. When I said that I'm semi allergic, he asked me what my reaction was and when he realized that my reaction wasn't anaphylactic shock, he said, "Okay, your allergy is not that bad, so you can still take this medicine." I was in a lot of pain and due to an accident and a pulled muscle/bruised bones and he wouldn't give me a muscle relaxant to help my muscles relax at night, so I could sleep. I know he's just a general practitioner, but if you have a specific problem, don't go to him. Find a specialist.
He was Great. Feeling much better.
I was happy that an electrogram was done as part of my annual check up as well as blood test to check for diabetes, cholesterol, kidneys, glucose and A1C.
I think nothing cause he did nothing. the person at a sign-in desk wasn't nice. I felt like I waste my time.
Overall he is a good doctor, I had an afternoon appt, basically I was rushed not a great experience
I feel he's rushing through my appt.
Excellent. The doctor saw me promptly, listened to my concerns, and helped me recover from my sickness. Would happily recommend Dr. Fallis.
Overall great visit for an annual physical check up. My first time there and would def go again! I was in and out of the office within 45 minutes... Great experience.
As always, he does a fine job. What I appreciate is his honesty. He never hesitates to say, "I don't know," or, "I haven't heard about that." It's refreshing.
Dr. Fallis provided satisfactory service, however he basically turned me over to a nurse to have my ears cleaned when I complained about a popping sound in my ear. Then they tried to bill me for SEVERAL months after even after my insurance called them to terminate the fee they tried to impose on me.
the wait for a nurse(s) was a bit long; but the overall experience was very professional. The reception staff was friendly and very helpful.
Very good, very convenient
I have never written a review for a doctor before, but had to for Dr. Fallis because I have never been seen so quickly at any doctors office in my life! After I filled out the paper work, I literally was seen within 5 minutes. I also was immediately tended to and out the door as quickly as possible.
He was professional and had a nice bedside manner.
Very helpful and honest.
Dr Fallis was very professional, curteous, and helpful.
He is a great doctor. He is warm and compassionate. I have seen him many times. He makes you feel at ease. I went during my lunch hour and was called in right away. I highly recommend him!
He was very nice
I thought he was very helpful and aware of my medical issue and needs.
He's the best
Quick and to the point. Very friendly! Would visit again!
Dr. Fallis was very friendly, helpful, and reassuring. I greatly appreciate his professionalism and the ease of service of the entire visit.
Saw the actual dr. for 2 minutes, was with the nurse for most of it. For busy people, this doctor is great.
Dr. Fallis was great, friendly and knowledgeable.
I've been to far too many doctors this year, and Dr. Fallis and his staff were the nicest, most efficient, and courteous - leaps and bounds ahead of the rest. Plus - he took me nearly 10 minutes early and I was out before my actual appointment time. Can't thank him enough.
i was here for an anual physical on my lunch break. not a good idea. my appointment was scheduled for 1:00pm. i was there about 12:55. the front desk was very efficiant and that process went quickly and smoothly. It took about 10 minutes to be checked in. i waited another 10 minutes until i was called into the office. i spoke to the doctor briefly and he told me someone would be with me shortly to take blood and do an ekg. i waited about 20 minutes. the doctor came back and said i was next. i waited another 10 minutes and now we are at 2:00. at that point i decided i was done waiting and would go to the front desk and get my money back and head back to work. they got someone to come out and see me and another 15 minutes later i was leaving the office at 2:20. the woman who took blood was terrific. the needle didn't even hurt. Can't say much for the doctor cause i didn't spend hardly any time with him. He seemed nice enough.
Dr. Fallis was great, definitely see him at Beth Israel
Dr. Fallis is a consummate professional. He is open and straightforward and will listen to what you tell him about your symptoms. As a young woman, I generally prefer female doctors. However, Dr. Fallis' professional manner, willingness to listen and provide detailed explanation about your treatment, and prompt attention makes him a great go-to when you need a quick visit or same-day appointment.
Professional, courteous, affable!
Very polite and professional
Such a nice doc who explains everything with a smile
very thorough and proffessional! very short wait time....under 20 minutes
EXCELLENT DOCTOR, KIND AND I AM GLAD TO HAVE DR ANDREW FALLIS AS MY PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR.
quick in and out. he knew what the problem was, diagnosed it, explained a bit about it, gave a script. very efficient.
Best doctor in NYC. Takes time to listen and really cares about his patients.
Great doctor! Very friendly!
No personality and didn't seem very knowledgeable. I will come back if i know what the problem is what medication i need. Other than that he was not thorough and was in a rush.
During the two visits I have had with Dr. Fallis, it seemed that his primary goal was to maintain a high volume of patient visits. During one visit, I feel that he barely made any eye contact and just rushed me through. Also, the front desk staff was rude and made the check in process confusing. I am assuming that this is a high traffic clinic and has expectations to push people through as quick as possible with disregard to patient comfort.
Dr. Fallis seem to be a nice and friendly doctor, but he doesn’t spend enough time with the patient. I feel that he just rush through my exam. I am in and out the exam room under 4 minutes.
I never had an problem with Dr. Fallis. He is a great and understanding person who attend to your needs.
It was great! They have good people there.
He is great every time I see him.
Doctor gets to the point, runs needed exams and recommends needed medication. When you have an appointment, the wait time is significantly shorter.
Great guy. Quick in-and-out and he knows his stuff.
Dr. Andrew Fallis is a Excellent Doctor and I think him so much. He is kind and understanding. I would recommend Dr. Fallis to anyone.
Very professional and nice.
I love this office! Great staff, Dr. Fallis was smiling and friendly first thing in the morning, he was listening to me and acted totally professional. A+
It was my first visit, having relocated to NYC. I needed a few prescriptions refilled and could not see my former Dr. in Washington, DC. I also wanted to establish a relationship with a new physican here where I live for my needs. Dr. Fallis was good, but I am surprised he didn't ask more questions about the prescriptions. For example, I didnt have to show any proof that I was already on these medications. And as I registered as a new patient, no one asked who my current Dr was. Perhaps this is more of a clinic or urgent care facility rather than a true medical practice? Another clue is that when I went to make the appointment, I did it online and he had 15 minute increments available. That says to me there is no time for in-depth discussion about a medical issue or history. So I conclude hat Dr. Falllis would not become my primary care physician.
he was very prompt in meeting with me and was quite personable. He quickly assessed my symptoms and took care of my health concern.
Absolutely quick and concise with my appointment and diagnosis. Dr. Fallis is very approachable and friendly! My only complaint is that Beth Israel accepted my insurance and then sent me a bill for the entire cost a few weeks after my visit. Probably won't choose them for Urgent Care again.
Too the point and out of there...
He was great quick and nice and answered all my numerous. questions.
Very polite and courtious. Answered my questions
Nice guy. Seems thorough. Routine stuff, but cool. Recommended by others, too.
Awful. I know doctors are busy in the city, but literally spending 60 seconds with someone is unacceptable. Does not answer any questions, trying to get you out the door the second you step in. Also excessive wait time, which is ironic considering how little time he spends with patients.
A bit cursory, but otherwise good. First meeting though, so pretty much par for course.
Dr. Fallis is great and the office is pretty with it. New electronic filing gave a me a long wait between seeing the doctor and getting my blood work done, but as the office gets used to it, I am sure it will be better.
He listens to his patients.....
No actual medical history taken, no testing to help diagnose actual cause of stomach ailment, only temperature taken (although I stated I had already done that, no fever). I was given a very powerful antibiotic, no instructions, and that was it. I timed the appt at less than 60sec with the MD. All questions I had for annual physical (actual reason for appt) unanswered, told to schedule another appt. Clearly, I am going to at another, more thorough practice.
I was hesitant because of poor reviews I had read. However, my visit went very well. Dr. Fallis was attentive and listened to my concerns.
Very friendly! In and out quickly, would absolutely see him again.
He didn't do much nurse took blood pressure but that's about it ... Nurse was fine can I rate him ????
I am glad to have Dr Fallis as my doctor and all the best to him.
Besides being a great doctor, Andrew is just a great guy. Very easy going and I always have very good experience everytime I see him. Very Highly Recommend.
Ive been seeing Dr. Fallis for over 2 years. He's one of the best doctors I've ever had. He listens, answers my questions, and thoroughly explains everything to me and I leave feeling secure and well cared for.
I like him because he's friendly and he listens to you.
Very competent, answered all my questions, was quick, very good.
He was very nice and understanding. Helped me understand couple of concerns that I had. Overall, the experience was very nice and I will be seeing him again.
Super friendly, to the point! Really liked him. Better than most docs I've come across in NYC.
Dr. Fallis was great. He was extremely professional and I left knowing I'd definitely see him again.
Real nice guy, hopefully I'll feel better soon.
Really good. Really friendly. Very knowledgeable...
I went in for an annual physical and really came away a bit disappointed in the lack of thoroughness. I'm not sure if that's his style, the style of the clinic, or the style of New York medical care. (I moved from L.A./Atlanta). He has fantastic personal skills and very open to answering questions. I would recommend, though I would need to experience more to determine if he will become my new PCP.
He was informative and gave me the necessary medication to help cure my ailment. Thank you.
Great Dr. His knowledge seems Up to date, Straight forward answers to questions. Great experience.
Dr. fallis was great.
Great doctor! Explained everything to me in detail to assure me that I'm in good health
Pleasant, Kind and Great Doctor.
my doctor was very courteous and attentive I thoroughly enjoyed my visit it was a pleasant!!
He is very friendly and quick!
Very quick. In and out. It was nice havig to wait since I went during lunch
Horrible doctor. He is not interested in listening to my questions/concerns of my problems. I was still in the middle of my question and he opened the door for me (indicating I should leave)already! Was he busy with next client? No! He was just out there chatting! Will never go to this doctor again.
I enjoyed my visit ans the Both the Doctor and Staff were extremely pleasant...
Its was excellent and very informative...
Pretty straight forward appointment. Paid attention, answered my questions, seemed genuinely friendly. Pretty much exactly what I needed from a GP.
Too focused on getting you out of the exam room and on to the next patient instead of answering questions.
I barely waited to see Dr. Fallis. I had a sinus infection he diagnosed right away and I was in and out in minutes.
I was nervous about using this site. I am new to the area and needed to make a doctor's appointment right away. I was pleasantly surprised at how professional and nice Dr. Fallis was. The staff at the front desk were also very kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend Dr. Fallis.
