Excellent doctor!
Excellent doctor!
very professional and nice
Great knowledge
I read the reviews before I booked my appointment and I can see where they are coming from. I was prepared, and just needed to see someone in the SoHo area. Dr. Chan is one of those people who seems cold and chop-chop, but once she warms up, or really gets into some of your questions, you might be surprised by a laugh. Everything's good from then on. At least that's what happened to me. She seemed quite knowledgable and drew me a diagram when I had further questions. It was still done very quickly and (some might say) coldly, but I knew then not to take it against her. :)
Very thorough and professional as always. Took her time to listen to all of my concerns and addressed them all. Explained everything in detail and wrote it out for me step-by-step.
Buen doctor y muy certero.
The staff is very professional and courteous, wait time is short to be seen by Dr Barrah.
Really great doctor but the wait time was long
Got there 20 minutes late due to confusion with my appointment time, but they were understanding and I was still able to get in pretty quick. Staff and doctor were genuinely concerned with my well being.
It was quick but he listened to me and took the time to chat for a few minutes. Not pushy and selected the conservative course of treatment which I appreciated
Amazing doctor. One of the best I’ve seen my time here. Thank you Dr Myint.
To be honest I won’t be returning here after my 2 week check back and blood results. The initial check up was fine and normal but I mentioned having a cyst to him that I’d like to have checked out and scheduled to be removed as it’s been years of pain and discomfort. He acknowledged and said “we can look at that no problem.” Checked my ankle as I told him I’d need an X-ray on that and my left thumb which I showed him was hyperextended and needed correction to which he again replied “we can take a look at that no problem.” Neither of those issues were ever looked at or even brought up as he rushed out after giving me a flu shot and had a nurse draw blood. I guess he only cared about giving me a flu shot and just bailed on everything else. With someone like that in charge of others health, I can’t justify going back to this physician since I’d like someone more dedicated to their jobs and if I hear “I forgot” or “you should’ve reminded me” I’ll laugh considering you’re a doctor and I work retail and I shouldn’t have to remind anyone like that about doing their job.
Loved the people, but too long a wait
Doctors are good, but the staff there is extremely unhelpful. My prescription that I had been taking for 5 years suddenly required doctor authorization (which requires the doctor to make ONE phone call), and it's now taking over a week to get the problem sorted out. When I finally got a staff member to pick up the phone, after days of trying email and Klara, that person just took my request and threw it out, evidently. Then the next day they tell me they had called the insurance company "but they didn't get back to [them] yet." Sooo they just stopped trying apparently. I had to call the insurance company myself and get all the information then relay it to them. The problem is still not resolved as of now. I'm getting a new doctor immediately because I've never felt so helpless with my own medical information.
I love Dr. Azar.
New Patient and Dr. Cohen was awesome, funny, kind, patient, but to the point. Aces all around.
Visit was great.
His office is in the projects and I'm convinced some people were in the small waiting room just to watch the soap opera on TV so it was quite cramped. His staff are all very very nice people and so is the doctor. However he said he was going to do some tests which he didn't end up doing. Maybe he didn't need to but he never explained that to me so I felt like he just forgot about it. He was good in a pinch, I made the appointment day of so can't complain. Prescribed me a whole lot of stuff which I never ended up taking and e-delivered my prescription to some weird pharmacy over on Myrtle in Clinton Hill which was a little out if my way. He's probably a pretty good doc, technically. And he is a very nice person as is his staff.
Everyone was very attentive and helpful. The Dr was extremely knowledgeable and made me feel very welcomed. I would recommend his office to everyone.
Perfect.
