Since 1999, Dr. Andrew K. Jong is an optometrist at Laser Eye Center, where he examines patients and provides specialist expertise across dry eye, refractive (LASIK & PRK), EVO ICL, cataract, pterygium (carnosidad), keratoconus, co-management contact-lens fitting, as well as cosmetic procedures. Dr. Jong earned his bachelor's in biology at the University of Kansas and his Doctor of Optometry at the University of California, Berkeley, completing externships at the Sacramento VA Eye Clinic, LaserVue Refractive Surgery Center, Heritage Park Vision Source, and the Magruder Eye Institute. His research in binocular vision explored stereopsis and three-dimensional perception. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Society.
