“The optometrist was excellent she listened carefully, addressed all of my concerns, and made me feel heard during my exam.
Unfortunately, the front office experience was disappointing. Only one staff member was welcoming. The woman who wears a mask was rude no greeting, no thank you, and I had to ask for my receipt. It felt very transactional.
The staff member helping with contacts was friendly until I said I wanted to think about purchasing a year’s supply. After that, his attitude noticeably changed. It came across as sales-driven rather than patient-focused.
The doctor was great, but the front office professionalism needs improvement.”

“Starting with the receptionist, every one was friendly and kind. The technician did some tests, explaining every step of what she was going to do.
The doctor came in bearing a nice smile. She asked questions to understand my issues and proceeded exam my eye to see what my problem was. Once she decided what was wrong with my eye, she explained the steps to follow to get my eye healthy again. The doctor also told me to come back if my troubles came back. ”

About Dr. Annalee Nix
Dr. Annalee Nix is a proud Arizona native with a strong commitment to eye health and patient care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Arizona State University before pursuing her Doctor of Optometry degree at Nova Southeastern University, where she graduated in 2009. During her time there, she also completed a second bachelor's degree in Visual Optics, further deepening her expertise in the science of vision.
Dr. Nix has completed specialized internships focused on ocular disease and contact lens management, equipping her with comprehensive clinical experience and a dedication to delivering high-quality, personalized care. Her areas of professional interest include dry eye treatment, myopia control and co-management of cataract surgeries. She is especially passionate about patient education, ensuring that every individual she sees feels informed, supported, and confident in their eye health decisions.
