“I honestly wouldn’t normally leave a review but I wouldn’t be going back which would be a relief to both parties the young female in the front was unprofessional mainly speaking about office drama although I was the only patient left it’s none of my business how a places is ran i get venting but it could be done in a discrete place away from patients the guy who helped with picking out my glasses was great and the provider I wouldn’t really recommend this place”

I visited the dr. 5 days ago and they still won't send me my RX. Seems like if you don't buy glasses from them they won't actually give you your RX.

This provider was extremely professional and polite. However, I'm giving 4 stars because the encounter felt impersonal and robotic. I didn't necessarily feel cared for by this provider as an individual patient. I will probably chose to go elsewhere for my next visit.

Everyone at the office I interacted with was personable, efficient, and helpful. Dr. Desando did my general checkup and listened to the extra issue I was having. She reassured me about it, but had no trouble or hesitancy referring me to a specialist for that issue. The other two employees were very helpful and kind and did a great job setting me at ease and getting me set up as a new patient.

Will never go back there again and would highly NOT recommend it to any of my colleagues. the Doctor kept me waiting for too long and I never met her as the aide took basic vital reading and dissappeared. I waited for over 25mn and left because it is not acceptable to have a 1330 apppointment and I have not seen the doctor. Will never go there again and she missed an opportunity to be my GP. Btw the receptionist was also awful as while I walked in he was on the phone and did not stop to guide me . I dont see this GP should be in the list of referrals for my employer the world bank.

Dr. Desando was an excellent OD -- I hadn't had an eye appointment in a couple years due to insurance coverage issues, and she was very thorough. Based on what I do for work she recommended both my regular glasses and also computer glasses, with a slightly different prescription to help focus and protect my eyes while reviewing documents all day. She also took my migraines into account when discussing eye health, which was great.

Didn't actually see Dr. DeSando for some reason, but Dr. Mehra was very nice and knowledgable as he explained every part of the exam. Note to any Aetna HMO users that Aetna's vision insurance tends to have issues with multiple family members on the policy, though that wasn't this office's fault. Luckily the cost of the vision exam is decent enough I could afford to go through with the exam even with Aetna's failure.

Went in for a medical appointment. Felt very pushed to do the retinal scan (which isn’t covered by insurance) despite having done the same scan a few months ago as part of eye exam. Retinal scan didn’t seem relevant to my condition or overall diagnosis. Everything else was great.
