“I’m 79 I been wearing glasses since my early 20’s. Been to many eye doctors over the years and even had one once who told me I need to see a specialist , I said thought you were he then refused to go any further with my exam. Some have been pleasant some rude but today with Dr. Mondo the 1st time I have been there. Everything was above my expectations the staff waited on me instantly and they were a lot of people there and not only wait on me but were so friendly and precise. My appointment with Dr. was 11:15 and at 11:20 I was in the chair talking with Dr. I expected him to be completely about the exam but to my surprise well he tended to my needs and did it so professional you would have thought that we were old friends. I don’t mince words- Dr. Anthony Mondo was so professional but very friendly without any doubt or reservation he was the best Dr. I have been to. The staff was awesome everything was explained to me. About Dr. Anthony Mondo

Anthony Mondo, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern. He earned his Master of Science in Applied Optics from Southeastern University in Miami, Florida. Dr. Mondo holds an Associate in Applied Science degree in Ophthalmic Dispensing from Erie Community College. During his clinical eye exam training, he was fortunate to extern at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, previously rated the #1 eye hospital in the country as published in U.S. News and World Report. Born in Messina, Italy, and raised in Central New York, Dr. Mondo speaks English and Italian. Dr. Mondo says he became an optometrist because he is passionate about helping people. He enjoys the personal connections with his patients and their families. Dr. Mondo is a New York State Licensed Optometrist trained to diagnose and treat ocular diseases, including glaucoma. His commitment to his patients is to provide excellence in eye care through ongoing professional education and using the latest technology in his practice. He is a current American and New York Optometric Associations member and has served as president of The Central New York Optometric Society. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Mondo supports his local community through charitable donations to schools, community auctions, and events. Dr. Mondo is the father of three loving children. He enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family."
