About Dr. Arif Iqbal

Dr. Arif Iqbal is an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist and has been in private practice for 35 years. He graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1988. He completed his undergraduate degree also from the University of Houston and holds an Associate’s Degree in Accounting. He completed his externship training at the Colmery-O’Neil VA Medical Center in Topeka Kansas in 1987. Dr. Iqbal comes from a family of optometrists, as his father and grandfather were both optometrists practicing overseas. He has been working in the field of optometry as a student since 1978 allowing him to gain a wide range of experiences from a young age. He is happily married and is a father of three girls and one son ranging from ages 29 to 18. His favorite past times include sports, running half marathons and spending time with his family. At this time, Preferred Eye Care is only accepting Emergency Eye Visits, Specialty Eye Visits on Zocdoc. All appointments will be Self-Pay/Out of Pocket payments at this time. New Patient Appointments will range from: $100.00- $300.00
