About Dr. Arifa Khokar
Born and raised in West Virginia, I was looking for a change of pace and am excited to join OB/GYN Associates. I earned my bachelor's degree from West Virginia University, and both my Doctor of Medicine and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Marshall University. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, gardening, and spending time with friends and family.

I’m in menopause and was looking for someone who was a menopause specialist. Although Dr. Khokar is not listed as one, she definitely had the knowledge and expertise to be one. She had a very thorough intake process and actually read my answers. She was up to date on all the latest knowledge and medicines concerning menopause. Her staff was great, too.

Dr Khokar is clear and a superb listener. she provided a range of options with ranges of invasiveness and timing, based on my current diagnosis. She was very tuned in to my feelings, without my saying, which is impressive, as I am a relatively new patient for her. She was equally strong in the analytical side--pros, cons, risks.

Dr. Khokar is absolutely the best gynecologist I have ever had she is so patient takes her time with you makes you feel comfortable the office staff is great too helpful and nice I recommend this place to everyone.

They didn't check me in all the way so I had to wait an extra 30 minutes, which was annoying. However, they did apologize several times and everyone there was very friendly. I would recommend this provider.

The office was really nice. Everyone was super sweet and extremely helpful. Dr. Khokar was really informative and listened to everything I had going on and got me squared away the same day. I am definitely going back.
