She continued her optometric training in the New York area from 1998 to 2006. Dr. Plotkin specializes in diseases of the retina, glaucoma, pre- and post-operative cataract and refractive surgery, and oculoplastics. She has actively participated in local and international OneSight missions to provide free eye examinations and eyewear to uninsured children and adults, as well as to the underprivileged in Mexico and India. Dr. Plotkin enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
