At Bartow Ophthalmology, our goal is to provide our local community with excellent treatment and care for a wide range of eye impairments. Our practice was established to offer reliable ophthalmology services to all of our patients. Our board-certified ophthalmologist, Dr. Assumpta Madu, is committed to providing exceptional eye treatment and surgery. She specializes in managing cataracts, glaucoma, and comprehensive eye care. Dr. Madu earned her Doctor of Medicine from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and holds a Master's in Business Administration from Pace University. Dr. Madu was so nice, very thorough and spoke softly. She explained everything in lay language. Didn't scare me into doing or agree to go forth with any kind of treatment. Answered all of my questions, and at no time did I feel rushed. She sympathized with the high cost of some drops she ordered and not knowing how much the Insurance will pay, she stated not to worry will work something out. Nice staff members, very clean and nicely decorated office. Very pleased
