About Dr. Augustin Batlle
I graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis in 1992 with a Doctor of Medicine degree. I completed two years of Family Medicine training and two years of Internal Medicine residency at University Medical Center Brackenridge in Austin. I have been practicing medicine since 1992, with nine of those years in private practice. I have been in good standing with the Texas Medical Board since 1994.
I have been Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine since 1998.
For those wondering, "Where is this guy from?" I was born in New York City to a Mexican American mother from Texas and a father from Spain. I grew up overseas as a "missionary kid" and graduated from high school in East Africa. Later, I completed college and medical school in Minneapolis/St. Paul. Life comes full circle, and now I’m living down the road from where my mom was born—in Gonzales.
Favorite hobby right now: I am obsessed with fitness and lifestyle health. I have turned fifty-six, and I’m shooting for 56 more. Your health and well-being are as much a concern to me as my own. Join me on this journey. Feel good and live long!

This was my first visit to Dr. Batlle, he seemed genuinely interested. He asked several questions, and helped me with some medication.

I was able to get my daughter in right away to see the doctor. We had the Nurse Practitioner Jennifer and she was wonderful! They where quick to get us out of the waiting room and immediately taken care of. Quickest visit ever. And very professional and kind staff. Thanks for the great visit.
