Disgusting. Outdated. And that photo of her doesn’t even look like her anymore. That’s probably 20 years ago

Not only did she constantly talk over me when I wanted to tell her the actual reason I was there other then to have an annual check up, she also completely bashed my method of birth control (LARC) deeming it asa trend. In addition, I've had a pap smear/ exam done by other providers and she was extremely rough and incapable of easing my stress when it came to her roughness.

I got what i needed from my visit, but dont think i would return back. The doctors office was a complete mess, papers everywhere. Not sure how she can keep track of patients in that manor, and she was just a bit weird.

Very nice , calm , gentle and professional. Was able to get AM appointment within 1 day! Other gynekologists were 2 -3 weeks wait, even in off hours.

I did not have a good experience with Dr. Shortle's office. She did not use a computer to take notes, but wrote my medical history on the inside of a manila folder. When she told me I needed to urinate ina cup, she handed me a Dixie cup and left he room. She returned a minute later as I stood confused and said sorry that's not sanitary let me get you something else. I asked her questions as she was doing my exam and did not answer any of them.

She was horrible. Seemed to have no idea what she was doing, made gross jokes, had a dirty office, and LOST my test samples so the whole thing was a waste of time. I don't usually write reviews but I reallydo not recommend seeing this woman - she made an already uncomfortable experience really disgusting and overall miserable.

The doctor did not take time to explain tests/test results. I was extremely uncomfortable and upset when I left the office, when I should have felt at ease. The entire staff seemed annoyed, in general... not pleasant.

Cluttered & dirty office- yelled my pap results for basically the entire office to hear--- did some things I've never experienced in a regular pap that would not be appropriate to post. :-/ Also her office isn't capable of just takingcredit card info for payments- have to write a check and mail like its 1990.

I do not recommend Dr. Shortle or this facility. She did not explain what she was doing and it made me very uncomfortable. Additionally, the office is old, cluttered, and dingy so it made me want to walk right back outthe door. I wasn't waiting too long but I had to submit the same medical information via Zocdoc, in-office paperwork, and an in-person discussion which made me feel like I wasted time too. Overall, it was a bad experience.

She completely forgot why she asked me to come back in, told me she "didn't know how to code a follow up appointment" and was trying to give me an annual exam again after I had just had one two monthsprior. She also slammed my insurance company and tried to also make me take additional testing I had just taken a few months prior.

Like other reviews state, Dr. Shortle seemed to have a hard time hearing me. I waited for about an hour to be seen and she had just been in her office, not with another patient. Horrible experience when it came timeto perform the exam. She was not very informative when I asked about different types of birth control, seemed to expect that I should know everything about them and should choose one for her to write a prescription for.

I waited almost an hour until they called me in. Dr. Shortle took me into her office and asked me a slew of standard questions. As she took notes, her hand shook tremendously which made me wonder how great she wouldbe at the exam that was to follow. She took me into the exam room and the room was atrocious! The floor was dirty and her tools did not look sanitary - wondering why this place hasn't been closed down for sanitary reasons. She had advertisements for plastic surgery all over the office - waiting room, bathroom, hallway - so it became clear to me that I wasn't her target patient. I would not recommend her to anyone - Dr. Shortle should retire.

I felt uncomfortable by how messy her office was, and the fact that this office is not only OBGYN but also Laser Hair Removal. The doctor could barely hear anything I said and didn't make me feel better when I was upset and confused by an irregular pap result.

After being led to her office, Dr. Shortle began the apt with "so have you ever been pregnant", and it was down hill from here. Her office was so cluttered and disorganized I felt like I was in an episode ofhoarders. After asking me the normal questions (she needed me to spell Junel for her) she led me to the exam room. The room was not only old but dirty. The exam table cushions were ripped with the exposed stuffing. She then took a pap exam stick and put it out bare on the dirty counter top where I had previously had my cell phone and I had to ask her to get a clean one. She also did not wash her hands in front of me. Then she took one of those merl cranks out from an unlined draw with about 20 others, looked at a few before choosing the one (most were rusty). The exam was fine and super quick. DO NOT COME HERE if you have time to goto another. I left mortified, I took pictures and sent my mom them. She was mad at me that I didn't get up and leave. I will be reporting them to the board of health. (I'm 22 yrs old)

Once I get to see the doctor she is great. However the wait time is very long, and after I came in for my annual Check up to renew my prescription, the doctor made a mistake and didn't request enough -and then made me come in 3 months later for an entirely new "annual" checkup in order to get my meds for the rest of the year - charging me at full and making me wait another hour... I may be looking for another doctor after this.

Dr. Shortle was lovely, but there were two drawbacks to my visit: 1. She did not hear me very well. 2. Most of the diplomas/certificates/posters in the exam room pertained to cosmetic surgery, not ob/gyn services. She did display her medicallicenses in her office where we talked before and after the exam, but it was off-putting not to see them in the exam room, where I needed to feel that my health was in good hands.

The biggest issue is their front desk and pharmacy follow up. Prescriptions disappear always and they don't let you know. Shameful. Best part is they are unapologetic about it.

Pros: Always available for last minute booking. Convenient location. Cons: Tears in the fabric of the exam room bed. Exam instruments come from an unlined drawer (there's no such thing as a sterile drawer)! Her records are extremely disorganized(asks me if I'm taking birth control when she called in a prescription for me less than one month prior). I was awaiting time sensitive test results and it took over 48 hours for her to return my call!

I was honestly very uncomfortable and unimpressed with the service I had. She seemed unprofessional and lacked knowledge of some of the information I felt she should have known. I had already filled out tons of information online the night before, yet she had asked me all the same questions in person which made the appointment longer, not to mention my appointment was at 2:30 and waited until 3 to go in.
