About Dr. Benjamin Sturdy

Benjamin Sturdy, O.D. graduated with distinction from Southern College of Optometry in 2009 after earning his Bachelor's Degree in human biology from the University of Kansas. He then completed his residency in ocular disease under Dr. Paul Ajamian at OMNI Eye Services in Atlanta, GA. He then completed additional requirements and testing to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry. He started practicing in Colorado in 2010 at ICON Eye Care as the Director of Education and Quality. In a commitment to advance the optometric profession, Dr. Sturdy created ICON's first accredited residency position in coordination with the Pacific University College of Optometry and served as the Residency Coordinator. In late 2021, Dr. Benjamin Sturdy acquired New Visions and Opticians 2 from Dr. Clausen and Kathy. Dr. Sturdy is committed to providing comprehensive eye care using state-of-the-art technology to achieve the best possible outcomes for his patients. Outside of his passion for vision, Dr. Sturdy enjoys spending time exploring Colorado with his family, including four children!
