“I was very nervous about my visit and Dr. Solomon and her staff made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. Everyone was extremely nice, understanding and professional. Dr. Solomon explained my problem and what needed to be done to correct my problem in ways that I could understand. She took time to ask if I had any questions. I feel very confident that I was in good hands with Dr. Solomon. I was a patient of Dr. Ducklo for over 30 years, so when he retired I was happy for him, but sad for me. However, I knew that Dr. Ducklo would leave his practice in excellent hands. And today, I proved him right! Thank you Dr. Ducklo, Dr. Solomon and Staff for continuing to provide excellent eye care.”

About Dr. Blair Solomon
Blair Solomon, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, graduating summa cum laude. Dr. Solomon completed externship rotations at Ducklo Eyecare and Pilkinton Eye Center. She is happy to provide care to patients of all ages, offering services including glasses, contact lenses, general ocular health, ocular disease management, and pre- and post-operative surgical care. Growing up, seeing her own optometrist was a happy experience that inspired Dr. Solomon to pursue optometry herself. She enjoys helping people see clearly for the first time or for the first time in a long time. She also loves meeting diverse people and getting to know them. When she is not treating patients, Dr. Solomon finds pleasure in working out, playing with her dog Boone, and cheering on the Volunteers.

I have very high anxiety and have not been to the eye doctor in years because of it. The staff was understanding and really made me feel comfortable. Everything was explained to me in detail before any tests, and this really put me at easy. Understanding the procedures took away all my worry and the entire visit was a breeze! I am very glad to have found my new eye doctor.

This my first ever optometry visit, and the whole office was super great in walking me through all of the steps and tests for the first time. Everyone is super sweet and very helpful. Dr. Solomon was great, super friendly and I appreciated the explanations of everything that she was doing and looking at :) The ladies who assisted in picking out my first set of glasses were also fantastic. Overall great experience.

There was no wait for my appointment, the staff was all so friendly and efficient. Raul was so knowledgeable and helpful, as was the doctor. The visit was not too long, and I didn’t have to get dialation which was a huge win (they have another option).
