He received his bachelor’s degree from Hiram College in 1977 and completed an additional bachelor’s degree in visual sciences at the Illinois College of Optometry in 1985. Dr. Bloomberg is a 2nd generation optometrist. His father, Dr. Cecil Bloomberg, started the first Bloomberg Eye Clinic in the Youngstown area in 1978. Dr. Brad Bloomberg currently serves as Chief Professional Officer and medical director for Bloomberg Eyecare in Ohio, and Riverfront Eyecare and Primary Eyecare in Michigan. Dr. Bloomberg resides in Boardman, Ohio, with his wife, Judy.
