“I walked into the cutest office with a spacious, clean layout. The office staff was friendly and kept me well informed the entire time. I was told up front about pricing for the each areas of the exam prior to starting. I needed contacts and glasses and the technician ran the charges a couple of ways to determine how to get me the best price with my insurance coverage. I didn’t have to suffer through the puffer to test for glaucoma as that has been replaced by another tool that was not even a tickle to my eyes . Dr Moderhack listened to my reasons for the appointment and made the visit quick and efficient. I honestly stumbled upon this team because they accepted my insurance but I would go there regardless knowing what I know now.”

I also like the fact that the eyeglass purchase can be made at the same place. The salesperson who helped me choose my glasses was very informative and she was transparent about which frames were within my price range. I would recommend this doctor to family and friends ”

About Dr. Brandon Moderhack
Brandon Moderhack, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in 2014 and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Miami University. During his residency at the Eye Center of Texas in 2015, Dr. Moderhack treated many ocular disease and surgery co-management patients.
Dr. Moderhack’s special field of interest is ocular pathology, and he is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association.
Dr. Moderhack always had a desire to work in the medical field. During college, he had the opportunity to work with an optometrist and determined that it was a good fit for him. He particularly enjoys meeting and connecting with new people every day. He is passionate about caring for his patients and ensuring they receive the utmost care. His diverse experience and continual updating of new research and studies allow him to provide superior care to all his patients during each visit.
When he is not in the office, Dr. Moderhack is an avid Chicago sports fan. He also enjoys going to the gym and participating in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Dr. Moder was so great! I’ve been feeling frustrated about my vision for quite some time and I didn’t think there was a solution. I guess he picked up on that more than I thought I was letting it show, it’s honestly been getting to me mentally. He offered two solutions- one for my working environment and the other for everyday living. I didn’t think this was possible- and I’m not talking by means of cheater glasses! I was so impressed by his skills. Will definitely continue to come to see him as a patient. He also has a personality and is down to earth. This is so important in a provider. Being relatable. ?? ????????
