They asked for my insurance card even though I had uploaded it twice online, once in the ZocDoc link and again in the pre-appointment link they sent to my email, but other than that, everyone was very nice and the doctor was very thorough.”

She also is very skilled in providing services for Myopia control such as Gentle molding. Dr. Carlos offers comprehensive eye exams to detect early signs of eye diseases and is dedicated to promoting good eye health and diagnosing and treating Dry Eyes. She stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in optometry and is committed to utilizing the latest technologies to provide the best possible care for her patients.
Dr. Brittney Carlos is an Alabama native and graduated from the University of South Alabama with a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science. While in college, she played Division I Women's Basketball for the South Alabama Jaguars. Following college, she worked as an ophthalmic technician where she discovered her passion for vision care. She then attended the MCPHS University College of Optometry in Massachusetts where she received her Doctor of Optometry. She joined WEA after completing an Ocular Disease Residency with an Optometry/Ophthalmology practice in Northern Maryland. Her clinical interests are on ocular disease and fitting contacts including soft contacts, rigid gas permeable contacts, and scleral lenses.

Great experience. The entire staff was very friendly, professional, and courteous. In addition, all were very patient with me since I have super sensitive eyes. I will definitely go back to this Doctor.

Dr. Carlos was very helpful and attentive. She was efficient without making me feel rushed and I was able to discuss everything I wanted to. The assistant who administered my eye tests was also super friendly and gave me some great tips like keeping allergy eye drops in the fridge for quick relief!
