About Dr. Cailyn Strupek

Dr. Cailyn Strupek, originally from Ashburn, Virginia, completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Chemistry from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!). She received her Doctorate in Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry where she was named to the Clinic Dean’s List. She completed her clinical rotations at clinics in the local Chicago suburbs, Charleston, SC, and at the Providence, RI Veterans Hospital. Dr. Strupek enjoys primary eye care with an emphasis in contact lens fitting, dry eye, and ocular disease treatment and management. Dr. Strupek currently resides in Old Town, Alexandria where you can find her enjoying the foodie scene or on the waterfront running with her dog, Carla.
