About Dr. Carmen Mosqueda
Dr. Carmen Mosqueda is a board-certified therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist who sees patients at our Tomball, Deerbrook, and The Woodlands locations. She has extensive training in diagnosing and treating eye diseases, including dry eyes, glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease. She also has experience in fitting a variety of contact lenses, including disposable soft lenses, rigid gas permeable lenses, and special lenses for keratoconus.
Dr. Mosqueda is originally from Houston, Texas, where she began her optometry education. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Houston in 2012 and her Doctorate of Optometry from the University Of Houston College Of Optometry in 2018. She completed an internship at a private practice in Austin, Texas, where she learned about treatment and management of dry eye and macular degeneration, specialty contact lenses, and myopia control. She also completed an internship at an Indian Health Clinic in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she gained experience on managing a variety of eye diseases, including glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic eye disease.
Outside the office, Dr. Mosqueda enjoys hiking, cooking, and spending time with her family.

I arrived just 16 minutes late and they refused to take me for the appointment even though they said the appointment only lasted 1.5 hours they said and their hours had plenty of time to see me. I went to Warby Parker instead and they got me in and out no fuss at all.
