“Dr Tong was very warm and friendly, answered questions clearly and helpfully, and took the time to explain what she was doing and seeing during my appointment. It was very quick and straightforward.
The only complaint I have is that at the end of the appointment I asked for my PD so I could order glasses from my preferred online vendor. I got the sense that the staff are trained/incentivized to sell patients on the frames they offer in the store.
I found this provider through zocdoc, so I'm not sure if this location is primarily a practice with a storefront or primarily a store with an in-house doctor. No complaints towards the staff themselves, they remained friendly and professional and did give my PD when I told them I wasn't interested in a purchase--but it is an odd feeling to go to an appt for health services and get sold something in the process.”

About Dr. Carole Tong
Carole Tong, O.D., achieved her Doctor of Optometry from Pacific University in Forest Grove in 2018 after earning a Bachelor of Science in Vision Science in 2016.
Dr. Tong is passionate about patient-oriented care and specializes in contact lenses and myopia (dry eye) control. Her interest in optometry stems from being diagnosed with myopia at a young age. She finds fulfillment in addressing each patient's visual needs and providing recommendations for ocular health maintenance.

I have been looking for an optometrist that resonates with me, as well as an extensive knowledge of my certain visual hiccups and not only was Dr. Carole knowledgeable, but her ability to make it easier to understand as the client was amazing! Dr. Carole was by far the best optometrist that I have personally seen in Oregon. Thank you for all of your hard work!
