About Dr. Caryn Bray

Dr. Caryn Bray is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is a member of the American Medical Association, Florida Medical Association, and Hillsborough County Medical Society.
Born in Hartford, Connecticut, Dr. Bray has practiced obstetrics and gynecology in Tampa since 1992. She attended Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts where she earned her baccalaureate degree in 1978. She received her medical degree from the University of Connecticut Medical School in Farmington, Connecticut in 1983. Dr. Bray completed her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology in 1987 at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Dr. Bray worked in Erie, Pennsylvania from 1988-1992 in a private practice of obstetricians and gynecologists. Since 1994, Dr. Bray has been appointed as Preceptor of OB/GYN Education – Family Practice Residency Internship Program at University Community Hospital, Fletcher campus. More recently, she has been a preceptor for third year medical students rotating through the obstetrics and gynecology rotation affiliated with Suncoast Hospital.
Dr. Bray is married and has four sons ranging in age from 21 to 28. Over the past years, she has been a soccer coach, referee, and served on the New Tampa Soccer Association Board for approximately 8 years. She also provides obstetrical and gynecological volunteer services at Judeo Christian Health Clinic.
For two consecutive years, Dr. Bray was named one of the top OB/GYNs in the Bay Area by Tampa Bay Metro Magazine.

Organized office with a great provider. Listens and explains everything and I never felt rushed through the visit. It was my first time to an OBGYN so I was a little bit nervous, but all faded when I saw how kind and caring they are. If you are hesitant to go, don’t be, I would recommend this office to anyone.

This office was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. Every staff member that I came into contact with from receptionist to front office to medical assistants / nurse was friendly and helpful. Dr. Caryn Bray was wonderful. She was extremely thorough and insightful. She took time explaining my hormone levels and the importance of keeping them within normal range. I never once felt rushed or intimidated not to ask questions. I highly recommend Dr. Bray. I am delighted to have her as my gynecologist.

The staff who welcomed me upon arrival were so friendly and empathetic to my needs. Dr. Bray's medical assistant was thorough and knowledgeable. Dr. Bray listened to my concerns and thoroughly explained the plan she had to help me with my presenting issues. Checkout was a breeze and pleasant. I absolutely love this practice.

Dr. Bray is the Awesome! She delivered all my nieces and nephews. It’s hard to find great OBGYN’s in Florida. If your looking to get an appointment with her, it may be challenging because she is great at what she does and Is often booked, but she has awesome bedside care. She’s got the experience and is worth the wait. She listens and truly respects your wishes on whatever decision you Choose concerning your health and wellness. She and Dr. Tiffany Patrick in Wesley Chapel are the only GYNECOLOGIST I would see at the Women’s Care Florida.

I have been coming to Dr. Solomon since I was 16 years old. Dr. Bray delivered both my boys and is also wonderful but Dr. Solomon is my go to :) I love this office, the staff is very nice and cares what you have to say. They always greet you with a smile. Anytime I needed help with insurance they have always been great and never got frustrated or anything. I will continue to see Dr. Solomon, Dr. Bray or Dr. Perkins for my medical needs

I had an awesome!!! new patient experience, from the front receptionist area who were very warm and friendly, to Dr Bray her assistant Melanie and Betsy, it was a great and wonderful experience thank you for your kindness, professionalism and very helpful attitude, lots of smiles and genuine care I was very comfortable talking to Dr. Bray and Betsy and Melody they made huge difference, I am so grateful everything was explained to me so that I can understand it, I felt better when I left than when I came.

I love Dr. Bray. She is the best doctor out there. The office staff is exceptional and you are in out without waiting long periods of time. Do yourself a favor, just go to Dr. Bray, no other Dr. (in my opinion) is better than her! She is simply amazing!

I have been seeing Dr. Bray for 23 years now. She delivered my 3rd of 3 kids. Moved to St. Petersburg and still continue to drive to Tampa to see her. She's an awesome doctor, very personable! Also the office staff are great too. Always a good experience when I go there!

Dr. Bray is hands down the best OB/GYN I have ever gone to. My first delivery was absolutely horrifying and I had a terrible midwife. When I had my second child I had wished Dr. Bray would deliver and I got my wish. She delivered my baby girl. Dr. Bray is gentle, kind and compassionate. She will treat you and that little life inside of you with absolute care and concern. I couldn't be more delighted to have had her as a doctor. I have since moved out-of-state, but if I ever move back the first doctor I am going to sign back up with will be Dr. Bray. She made my whole delivery the experience my first delivery should have been..easy and carefree. I love Dr. Bray and I think you will too.
