About Dr. Casey Packer

Dr. Casey Packer is a certified optometric glaucoma specialist and therapeutic optometrist in Austin, Texas. He was born in the Dallas area but raised in East Texas. He attended the University of Texas at Austin receiving a degree in biology. He then enrolled in the four-year Doctorate of Optometry program at the University of Houston. He completed rotations at one of the largest optometry practices in Austin and then another rotation at St. Erik’s Eye Hospital in Stockholm, Sweden. After moving back to Austin, he opened his practice, Lone Star Eye. His training specialized in ocular disease, keratoconus, dry eye syndrome, glaucoma, pediatrics, and custom contact lens fitting. Dr. Packer continues to volunteer services throughout the community and to those internationally. Those services include medical mission trips to Peru, Ecuador, and Mexico. Most relevant

Unfortunately, the medicine I was given by the doctor made my situation exponentially worse. After having to see multiple doctors afterwards I learned that what I was given can exacerbate symptoms and ultimately greatly increased my healing time. Would not recommend.
