If you would like an ultrasound on the same day as your new OB appointment, details will be provided in your ZocDoc appointment confirmation email.** *** In most cases for IUD/Nexplanon insertion, 5 business days are necessary to confirm insurance coverage and is not included in annual exams/pap smears. IUD/Nexplanon insertion is done during a woman's menstrual cycle, or if she is on another reliable form of contraception, or if she has not had intercourse for 2 weeks. Please schedule your appointment accordingly. *** Dr. Catherine Harth is an experienced, board-certified OB-GYN. Dr. Harth is available for exams and consultations at the University of Chicago Medicine in Chicago, IL. Catherine listened to my concerns and took them seriously, and calmly guided me through the options. I didn't expect to be treated for the issue that day (which involved minor surgery), but she was able to fit me in and it went relatively quickly. If I have any complaints it would be that I wish I'd had a bit more time to ask questions and gotten a little more information about after care. But overall I'm very happy with the care I received and would return to see Catherine again!

I had a great experience! From checking in, through the appointment, and checking out I felt like I was in good hands and got all my questions answered. There wasn’t much of a wait in the waiting room or the exam room which was great and the office was spacious, clean, and convenient.

Dr. Harth is very knowledgeable and has good bedside manner. She took the time after my appointment to look at her schedule to ensure I would have all the follow-up I appointments I need before the birth of my baby. I really appreciate how thorough she is during our visits and I like that she adressess all my concerns.
