Probably one of the kindest, most personable, and most detail-oriented doctors I have ever met. Dr. Litchfield was so thorough with both assessing my issues as well as answering all of my questions. He eased anxieties about the path forward and provided clear next steps for my treatment. I've had persistent running injuries for a long time and I feel like I finally have a path forward. THE WORST, staff if very rude when approaching to confirm the insurance you have, I had an appointment with Dr. Charles Lichtfield and I confirmed days prior that this doctor was In-Network with my provider, he even appears like so, but when you get there, the staff tells you that he’s not and you have to pay the full amount.
They need to fix their stuff

I like the service provided by the doctor, gave clear feedback. Staff was friendly too. I think the Office could improve waiting time. I also had issues with picking up my prescription at the pharmacy but this month not be on the Office. Overall, I am happy to have chosen this doctor and clinic so far.

Great doctor when he's actually in the room with you. However, I've had a few problems with referrals. One example: he never sent a referral to me after an appointment. I followed up with his office, after a few days he sent me an old (incorrect) referral for a different body part. Followed up two more times over the next week, just to eventually be told he's OOO for a couple weeks. I went and got a new referral from another doctor; I never got the original referral I'd requested.
I spent an extra month in a lot of pain just because I couldn't actually get my PT referral.
He always says to book a follow-up for about 2 weeks out but he's never available more than 3-5 weeks ahead. That, and they pull you into a room almost immediately and then leave you there for 30-60 minutes even when you have the first appointment of the day.

Don’t visit this doctor if you value your time. I waited for over an hour past my appointment time (which by the way was an early morning appointment), and all the rude staff kept telling me was that he would see me “shortly”.
We all have other obligations and jobs, unbelievable that you are just made to wait with 0 courtesy or respect shown. I’ve actually never had a negative experience like this with a doctors office in NYC.

Dr. Litchfield understands the way you need to diagnose and treat an athlete and handled my sports injury perfectly— measured and exploratory in the diagnosis stage, no-nonsense and authoritative in the treatment stage, while remaining empathetic and patient.
