“Dr. Ritter is the kind of doctor you hope to find but rarely do. From the moment you walk in, you feel cared for—not rushed, not processed, but truly listened to. Dr. Ritter takes the time to explain everything and makes you feel confident and comfortable with your care. The optical experience is just as incredible. The team is warm, patient, and genuinely wants to help you find the perfect glasses. The frame selection is amazing—far better than any commercial chain. This is a truly independent practice, not owned by private equity, and you can feel the difference in every interaction. If you value personal care, integrity, and quality, this is absolutely the place to go.”

About Dr. Chet Ritter

Dr. Chet Ritter earned his Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2018, following a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh. Some of Dr. Ritter’s areas of expertise include: managing ocular diseases such as glaucoma and macular degeneration, fitting contact lenses, including specialty lenses, and treatment of urgent conditions, such as eye infections and injuries. While he finds great satisfaction in treating complex eye conditions, Dr. Ritter equally enjoys the joy patients experience when seeing clearly with their new contact lenses or eyeglasses. A highlight of Dr. Ritter's career was participating in a volunteer clinic in Oaxaca, Mexico, where he and a small group of eye care providers helped fit several thousand patients with eyeglasses in less than a week. Dr. Ritter is dedicated to staying current with the latest advancements in optometry so that his patients have access to the best solution to their visual problems. Patients appreciate Dr. Ritter's ability to explain complex eye issues in easy-to-understand terms. He takes the time to listen to each patient's unique needs and concerns, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit.

Dr. Ritter is an exceptional doctor, thorough, kind, and genuinely attentive. Both offices are modern, clean, and equipped with advanced technology, which immediately builds confidence in the care you’re receiving. Parking is easy at both locations. The Denver office inside St. Luke’s / Presbyterian is very convenient, and the Aurora office is easy to find. I’ve seen Dr. Ritter at both and had a consistently great experience. The optical service is outstanding with one of the best frame selections I’ve seen. This is a true independent practice, and the difference in care and service really shows.
