Dr. Chimene Pellar, M.D., F.A.C.O.G. is a highly trained,
board certified specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology with more than 20 years of experience. She has delivered hundreds of healthy and happy babies. If you suspect you have endometriosis, I wouldn’t recommend going to her. She brushed off nearly all of my symptoms as “normal PMS,” mostly because I said I don’t experience pain during sex. I wish I had lied bc sometimes it feels like doctors only take women seriously when our pain impacts a man.
My period pain is absolutely debilitating. I’ve thrown up, passed out, cried myself to sleep from how intense the cramps are. Huge blood clots. I’ve tried every OTC pain med, and nothing helps. I also get horrible cramping during ovulation.
I also get a deep, radiating numbness and tingling that starts in my pelvis and shoots down my legs. It’s beyond cramps. Based on my research, it sounds like sciatic endometriosis, but I’m not trying to self diagnose. I just wanted someone to take it seriously.
To be fair, after I pushed back, she prescribed stronger meds and referred me to a specialist. She was polite and friendly, but I didn’t feel heard.

The staff and provider were so extremely helpful and friendly. The office receptionists were prompt and professional. The inner appointment was a wonderful experience; both my nurse and doctor were very endearing and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend visiting this office.

Dr. Pellar was great at making me feel welcome and comfortable during my first annual visit. She listened to all my questions, spent time getting to know me, and explained the procedures. I will definitely be recommending Dr, Pellar to anyone that needs a gynecologist!

Dr. Pellar and the team here are wonderful! Everyone makes me feel very comfortable. Dr. Pellar explains things clearly and takes any concerns seriously. Even the phlebotomist Candice is great, and it was super convenient to not have to make another stop for labs. I highly recommend Dr. Pellar.

Dr.Pellar and the nurse Ms. Tammy were very friendly and professional. The wait was longer than expected due to the high volume of labor patients that day which is understandable so I did not mind!

Dr. Pellar was very kind and professional. Once I was shown to a room, she showed up quickly once a nurse had taken my vitals and I was out of there in under 15 minutes, although she took time to answer any questions I had and get to know me a bit. Would definitely recommend her to a friend.

Dr. Pellar was great. As other reviews have noted, the wait time is quite excessive. I was in the waiting room 30 minutes and then in the exam room another 15. That being said, as a new patient, I was able to get an appointment in just one week, which was great. She answered all of my questions and didn't make me feel rushed.

Walked in, signed one piece of paper thanks to ZocDoc, and the nurse was immediately ready to meet with me and take vitals before I saw the doctor. As my first time with this doctor, I was also given the option to meet her before or after changing into the exam gown.
She was polite, explained everything she was doing, smiled, and was all around pleasant and kind to talk to. I also felt like she had read all my paperwork prior to my walking in the door, so I appreciated the time she spent doing that.
Having previously disliked a previous OBGYN I was meeting with due to her condescending nature and strange manner, Dr. Pellar was a dream.
