Dr. Chintan Shah is Board Certified in Family Medicine and recently earned a degree of Fellow in Family Medicine (FAAFP). He earned his medical degree at N.H.L. Municipal Medical College in India and completed his residency at Case Western Reserve University – MetroHealth Medical Center, Cleveland Ohio. Long wait time (over an hour) to speak to the actual doctor. Then he stepped out to take a phone call in the middle of our conversation. Luckily the girl in training he had doing the work for him was very nice and helpful.

Decided to see Dr. Shah as my new Primary Care doctor (when I needed to see a GP as follow up the gallbladder removal surgery I unexpectedly had to have two weeks ago) after I couldn’t get into see my previous Primary Care doctor who I (and my family) had been with for over 29 years just bc I had I hadn’t been to see her in a few years. So glad I went to Sr. Shah!

I set up an appointment to see the Dr in person in his office. My appointment was scheduled for 10am. I arrived at the office by 9:30am the office personnel and nurse did all the introductions paperwork and had me wait for the dr. After an hour of waiting, the office manager came by to inform me that the Dr was still in Miami and was not able to see me. Miami is 2:30 hours away. If the Dr was not on his way by 7:30 am it was more than likely that he wasn’t going to be able to make it to the appointment. Why make me drive all the way there, miss a day of work and had me wait in the office.

Dr. Shah and his staff are very friendly. Both he and his nurses listened to my concerns. My wait was maybe 15-20 minutes before nurse brought me back. There were only myself and 2 other people in the waiting room. The waiting room was full when I left though. I like how I was able to get an appointment quickly. I had called other PCP and the new patient appointments availability was 9 months out! That’s just crazy. I’m happy with my decision of choosing Dr. Shah.

Don’t bother filling out your ZocDoc info before your appointment. Out of 6 doctors offices appt thru this app since 2017, 5 of them did not have any of my personal info and i had to give it again.
