What should a new client know about working with you?

My psychotherapy services are provided using telehealth to meet you wherever you are in California. Finding a therapist with whom you feel connected, safe, and understood is essential for therapy to work. Please see my rates below and note that I DO NOT TAKE INSURANCE AT THIS TIME. However, if you have an out-of-network plan, it is likely that most or all of the session costs will be reimbursed if you have met your out-of-network deductible. Rates: $200 for the first appointment (Initial Intake). $150 per individual therapy session. I believe that you are the expert of your own life and I believe in the human capacity for choice, empowerment, and self-actualization. Thus, during sessions, I will be an active participant in helping you move towards your goals and will never work harder than you. Instead, I will give you tools to empower yourself to grow and thrive to the extent that you desire to do so.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Your first appointment is the initial 15-minute phone consultation. This is a process by which I learn about your specific needs and mental health goals to determine if my services are appropriate for you. Sessions are then scheduled weekly or bi-weekly and are where we do the work of meeting your mental health goals.
