About Dr. Christine Best
Christine Best, O.D. earned her Doctor of Optometry from Salus University (formerly Pennsylvania College of Optometry) in 1997 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Wyoming. Her special field of interest includes specialty contact lenses such as scleral, ortho-K, hybrid, and multifocal lenses.
After working as a CPA, Dr. Best realized she wanted a career focused on helping people. Because she wore glasses from a young age, she explored several medical fields and ultimately chose optometry. She fondly recalls always loving visits to her optometrist, which truly changed her world.
Dr. Best finds great fulfillment in making a difference for patients with corneal disease. She treasures the moments when patients tear up upon finally being able to see clearly. Building lasting relationships with her patients and their families is also very important to her.
Outside the office, Dr. Best enjoys road cycling, mountain biking, hiking, camping, snowboarding, and traveling.
