Welcome to The Advanced Asthma & Allergy Center (AAAC), a specialty clinic dedicated to treating and caring for adults and children suffering from asthma and allergies.
The center is directed by Dr. Christopher Collaco, MD, PhD, an experienced, board-certified Allergist and Immunologist who practices evidence-based medicine. Dr. Collaco earned both his Doctor of Medicine and PhD from the University of Texas Medical Branch, completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas, Houston, and finished a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the University of Texas Medical Branch.
Your treatment is directed by a multi-pronged strategy starting with a detailed history, followed by the identification of allergens that are causing your symptoms. This is followed by instituting an individualized treatment plan, including avoidance measures, medications, and allergen immunotherapy, if warranted. We believe that patient education, along with this systematic approach to the treatment of your asthma and allergies, will maximize your benefit and enhance your quality of life.
