He worked as a Licensed Dispensing Optician for years teaching fellow opticians optics and lensometry. He furthered his education in optometry school where he finished out his training and received his doctoral degree. Dr. Tumolo is passionate about his patient’s eye care, health, and wellbeing. He believes the formal barriers that constrict the doctor-patient interaction should be dissolved and he takes pride in walking his patients through every step of the examination educating and explaining to them all the details of the eye and their refractive conditions. Dr. Tumolo created Beyond 2020 Vision Specialists to bring back that personal touch, reminiscent of the times when doctors made house-calls, added with today’s modern examination technologies. Together you get a personal specialized examination and a sense of trust that you received a complete and thorough examination. Dr. Tumolo is a dog lover and can usually be found around town with his Jack Russell terrier Bruna. He also enjoys kickboxing, MMA, working out, sports cars, and drawing.
