About Dr. Christy Larson

Christy Larson, O.D., earned her Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University Bloomington in 1996. She completed her undergraduate studies in Biology at Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky. Dr. Larson is a board-certified Optometric Physician, certified by the National Board of Optometry (all parts) and the state of Florida. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the Florida Optometric Association, and the Central Florida Optometric Association. Dr. Larson was a graduating member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honorary Society and belonged to the Cardinal Key National Honor Society Alumni for five years. She received the Roy E. Denny Award from the Indiana Optometric Association for her research and was honored with the Ciba Contact Lens Achievement Award for clinical excellence in contact lenses. Additionally, she was recognized as the Best Eye Care Center in Seminole County from 2007 to 2011. Dr. Larson lives in Lake Forest, Florida, with her husband, Ben Larson, O.D., and their three children: Blake Riley, Braeden Cole, and Bella Grace.
