About Dr. Cody Good
Cody Good, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from the Indiana University School of Optometry in 2020 and earned his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Indiana University. His special fields of interest include specialty scleral contact lenses, Ortho-k, pediatric eye care, myopia management, and dry eye treatment.
From a young age, Dr. Good was always interested in the medical field. While attending high school, he completed an internship at an eye center. He was impressed with the overall positive environment and how quickly the optometrists were able to help solve their patients' visual issues. Dr. Good says it is very gratifying when he can help his patients, especially those who wouldn't otherwise be able to see well-like fitting a longtime keratoconus patient in scleral lenses for the first time or resolving a pediatric large Rx case.
In his free time away from the office, Dr. Good enjoys reading, playing video games, and going to the movie theater. He also likes to spend time outdoors and watch sports and college basketball.

Dr. Good changed my prescription for my right eye astigmatism and said it might take a week to get used to it. I’ve never heard that before for any other prescription exam and there was no explanation beyond that. What transpired after that was a new set of glasses and my right eye cannot focus on anything, I’m honestly better able to see without glasses at all. My left eye is fine with the new glasses but I’m essentially now blind in my right eye because the astigmatism fix has made it impossible to focus on anything. I cannot go to work like this, what a ridiculous situation. Now I’m stuck having to go back to the same guy to fix the problem he created. I have lazy eye and 99% of my vision is through my right eye, this is as bad as a vision check can be! Even the optometrist at Costco where I filled the prescription was shocked!

The staff was very engaging and friendly. This was a first time appointment and they were extremely helpful with information input. The technician and the equipment for the exam were State of the Art. Dr. Good was very thorough and explained my exam better than I have ever had in the past 60 years of wearing glasses. He addressed my eye health issues with suggestions on how to help existing problems. I could not have been more pleased with the whole experience. So glad to found the Marysville Vision Clinic.
