About Dr. Corey Di Stasio
Corey Di Stasio has been in practice for eighteen years and holds a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. He has trained in sports medicine with surgeons from the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute. Corey also has advanced training from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in providing acupuncture for cancer-related symptoms.
He empowers his patients with knowledge of health issues and preventive techniques by exploring physiology, posture, environment, stress management, diet, and lifestyle factors to uncover the influences that shape injury and disease. Corey's devotion to healing and medicine drives him to continually expand his insight into effective health strategies within Chinese Medicine, naturopathic systems, and current medical knowledge.
He is a licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) in New York State and a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

I’m new to the idea of acupuncture, but a case of tennis elbow just wouldn’t make any progress toward healing despite my efforts with three months of rest, ibuprofen, light stretching… so I decided to try Corey DiStasio’s practice. So glad that I did!
After a handful of sessions, I felt meaningful progress and that continues to gain traction. I appreciate the clean, comfortable, well-organized office.

Corey is a gifted acupuncturist--he knows not only the science but the art of medicine. He is able to treat both acute and chronic illness/pain/injury as well as helping to re-set the emotional and immune systems. He listens carefully, reads the body, and is attuned to his patients.

I sought out Dr. Corey Di Stasio after enduring several months of discomfort from a pinched nerve in my neck. Despite consulting a chiropractor, the relief was fleeting, and the pain returned within a few days. In contrast, Dr. Di Stasio's treatments brought both immediate relief and sustained improvement. He is attentive and possesses deep knowledge about the healing benefits of acupuncture.

Corey is an amazing acupuncturist! He has such a patient and calm demeanor that allowed me to truly relax under his care. He explained the meaning behind some of my symptoms and his rationale for needle placement. After the treatment, my muscles were more relaxed, I had a great night sleep that night and I felt much more focused at work for the next two days. I definitely will come back and will recommend him to others.
