About Dr. Craig Hossenlopp

Dr. Craig Hossenlopp was born and raised in Columbia, SC. He attended Clemson University for his undergraduate degree and went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. Dr. Hossenlopp dreamed of becoming an Optometrist so he could have the ability to change people’s lives through improving their vision. He is passionate about his career and has even performed eye examinations on patients in underserved populations through the Lions Club International in Belize, Colombia, and Jamaica. Dr. Hossenlopp specializes in MiSight Contact Lens Certification for Myopia Control, Custom Scleral and Rigid Gas Permeable Contact Lenses, Custom Soft Contact Lens Fittings, Dry Eye Disease, and co-management with refractive and cataract patients. In his spare time, Dr. Hossenlopp enjoys sand volleyball, football, golf, fishing, boating, biking, running, paddle boarding, and enjoying everything the Tampa Bay area has to offer.
