About Dr. Craig Moskowitz
Based in Manhattan, Dr. Moskowitz is a dually board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist and an international specialist in Advanced Surface Ablation.
He is a Castle Connolly Rising Star as elected by his peers and a New York Super Doctor. He has also been named a Top Ophthalmologist in New York by the International Association of Ophthalmologists and has been featured in The Leading Physicians of the World.
He completed his residency at McGill University where he earned the title of Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCSC) of Canada. Dr. Moskowitz then received additional training in cornea and refractive surgery at The Ohio State University and completed a mini-fellowship at the world-renowned Agarwal Eye Institute under Amar Agarwal, MD, in advanced techniques in refractive surgery and cataract surgery. He has presented research at both the American Academy of Ophthalmology and Alcon Masters conferences. He has helped lead several surgical missions in underserved areas, including Peru, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and India.

Dr. Moskowitz is dedicated to providing an uncommon level of personalized patient care. Moskowitz Eye Care offers a boutique approach where you’re treated like family. Unlike other New York City eye care clinics and “LASIK Mills,” he does not delegate any of your care to anyone but himself. Instead, Dr. Moskowitz will see you from your initial consultation all the way through your last post-op visit. Your care will be exclusively provided by him – not a trainee, not a technician, nor a mid-level optometrist. He prides himself on being readily available to each patient to ensure they always feel at ease.
