About Dr. Dana Hawkins

Dana Hawkins, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry with high honors from the Michigan College of Optometry in 2017. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology, graduating summa cum laude from Ferris State University in 2013. Following graduation, Dr. Hawkins served as a Lieutenant and optometrist in the U.S. Navy for four years, where she provided eye care to sailors and marines while stationed in Beaufort, South Carolina. Her clinical interests include the treatment of ocular diseases, contact lens fitting, pre- and post-surgical care, and delivering comprehensive, patient-centered eye care. Now a part of Richland EyeCare, Dr. Hawkins is excited to return to her home state of Michigan to be closer to family and to provide outstanding vision care to the community. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their three young children.
