He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, magna cum laude, from The New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1996. Dr. Tucker completed an extensive three-year residency in traumatic and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Hoboken University Medical Center in Hoboken, New Jersey, serving as chief resident during his final year. Dr. Tucker is the director of the Loma Linda University Medical Center- Murrieta Podiatric Medicine and Surgery residency program. He brings over 26 years of clinical experience to his practice. Dr. Tucker specializes in all facets of foot and ankle reconstructive surgery, including sports medicine, complex traumatic injuries, revision procedures, total ankle replacement, lateral ankle reconstruction, arthroscopy, arthritis care, bunion surgery, and diabetic limb salvage. His expertise also includes Charcot reconstruction, 2nd opinions, and advanced limb preservation techniques. His practice has been designated a “Centurion Center” for the Lapiplasty® bunion procedure, having performed over 100 of these surgeries. A strong patient advocate, he integrates the latest evidence-based technologies to provide advanced, personalized care. Originally from Long Island, New York, Dr. Tucker has been married to his wife Ericka for 30 years. They have a son who is an environmental consultant, a daughter in medical school, and two Yorkshire terriers. Outside of medicine, he enjoys golf, culinary exploration, wine, music, travel, and watching collegiate and professional sports. He also has extensive experience mentoring residents and fellows, having founded a highly regarded traumatic and reconstructive foot and ankle fellowship program at The Southeast Permanente Medical Group in Atlanta, Georgia.
