“I had a wonderful experience at this office. I came in for my own eye exam and also brought my daughter for her very first eye checkup. The optometrist was incredibly kind, patient, and made my daughter feel comfortable the entire time, which meant a lot to me as a parent.
The staff was super friendly, welcoming, and very professional. Everything was quick, organized, and efficient, but we never felt rushed.
I highly recommend this office for both adults and children. Thank you for making my daughter’s first eye appointment such a positive experience. :)”

About Dr. Danielle Riili-Mazniker
Dr. Danielle Riili-Mazniker was born and raised in Staten Island, NY. She attended undergraduate school at Macaulay Honors College at the College of Staten Island; graduating Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Biology.
Dr. Riili-Mazniker then attended SUNY College of Optometry. While there, she gained a tremendous amount of ocular disease experience through various internship/externship sites such as Woodhull Medical Center and Brooklyn VA Hospital. Dr. Riili-Mazniker truly values her patient’s experience, making sure they understand all there is to know about their eye health. She focuses on her interaction with her patients as well as emphasizes on the importance of eye care. In addition, she is well versed in contact lens fittings and always stays up to date with the latest technologies.

Everyone was very kind and talked me through the entire process, and I did not have to wait very long before being seen. There was, however, a longer wait between the initial check and seeing the doctor, but I believe that was only because the gentleman with the appointment before me had more to discuss with her. Because of that, I honestly did not mind waiting. I appreciated that she took the time to listen to her patients rather than rushing them out the door. She was a great listener and did not rush me either.
Afterwards, the very nice woman at the front desk explained the allotment my insurance allowed for glasses and even helped me pick out the perfect pair. She was not pushy at all about spending beyond what we had already discussed, I was comfortable with. They also offer shipping as an option, which I am very grateful for. I hope my next insurance plan covers them when I switch. I'll be sad if it doesn’t!
