About Dr. Dannelle Chung

Dr. Dannelle Chung grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and moved down to sunny Southern California to attend UCLA. After graduation, she stayed in Southern California and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry, where she graduated summa cum laude. She then went on to complete additional training as an ocular disease resident at the West Los Angeles VA Hospital, where she honed her knowledge and skills in managing and treating ocular diseases such as glaucoma, diabetes, and macular degeneration. She is a glaucoma-certified therapeutic optometrist and well-versed in diagnosing and managing various ocular conditions. She also has a special interest in dry eye management in myopia control. As someone who has been extremely nearsighted since childhood, Dr. Chung appreciates the value of clear vision and hopes to help all of her patients achieve and maintain their best eyesight through quality eye care. In her free time, Dr. Chung likes to go to Disneyland, eat delicious food, and spend time with her husband and daughter.
