About Dr. David E. Weber

Dr. Weber is from Detroit, Michigan where he completed his Bachelor of Science degree at Wayne State University. He earned his Doctorate at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. After receiving his doctorate, he completed clinical externship programs at the Naval Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas and at a private ophthalmology practice in Blytheville, Arkansas. He has been practicing optometry in Dallas for 30+ years.
Dr. Weber is a member of the American Optometric Association, The Texas Optometric Association, and the Dallas County Optometric Society. He provides free vision screenings for students at schools in his community and donates his services for many community organizations and schools. Patients come from all around North Texas to see Dr. Weber, as he is well-known for being one of the most thorough and attentive eye practitioners in the area, with a keen ability to solve even the most complex vision challenges. His goal is to help each of his patients to achieve their optimum vision – he wants them to see “the best they’ve ever seen” – not an unusual comment from many of his patients.
In addition to helping his patients achieve great vision, Dr. Weber regularly sees patients for eye emergencies, eye infections and allergies, dry eyes and other eye problems. He is a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and a Certified Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.
In his leisure time, Dr. Weber enjoys woodworking and has a fine appreciation for comedy, as well as for magic and illusion. He has three children, ranging in age from 22-39.
