About Dr. David Hiltzik
Dr. Hiltzik is originally from New York and graduated from SUNY Oneonta with a BS in Chemistry in 1985. He graduated with honors, Cum Laude, from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in 1989 and also earned a BS in Biology. In 1990, he completed a one-year residency at Michigan Health Center in Detroit, Michigan. From 1999 to 2003, he served as the clinical director of a two-year surgical residency program. He has been practicing in Waukegan and the Chicagoland area for over 35 years. His practice philosophy is to treat patients conservatively and to elevate treatment protocols as needed for each individual. He treats patients of all ages, from children just starting to walk to senior citizens.
He has a strong interest in sports medicine and is highly versed in orthotic therapy. Dr. Hiltzik has treated weekend athletes as well as professional tennis players and understands the demands that playing sports places on one’s feet. For the past 20 years, he has also been providing home visits to seniors and individuals who are unable to come to the office without assistance.
His office manager, Maheli, is in charge of scheduling, billing, and other aspects of running the office.
His hobbies include skiing, fishing, golfing, softball, gardening, and other outdoor activities. He also enjoys spending time with his family and his two dogs.

He listened to my what I thought my problem. Not only did he address my problem, but he also evaluated my shoes for sturdiness and support. He took care of my problem and offered an over the counter treatment.

The overall prices of booking an appointment to treatment was great. The appointment was so easy to make. I was taken right away without questions and it of there in like 20 minutes. The doctor knew his stuff and maid it painless and efficient to get me on my way. I highly recommend anyone needing his services
