About Dr. David Nguyen

Dr. David is a proud Gator who earned his bachelor of science degree from the University of Florida. Having grown up in Mississippi, he knows a thing or two about southern hospitality and has always loved taking care of people and the community. He earned his Optometry doctorate degree from the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico, where he really found his passion for helping patients protect and preserve their gift of sight. During his training, he often volunteered his time at children’s school screenings and made house visits to the elderly who had no transportation capabilities. His skills are well honed and he excels at treatment and management of ocular diseases, contact lens fittings, and the continuation of care for LASIK and cataract surgery patients. Dr. David enjoys providing his services to the families here in Southern California where he now resides with his wife. In his free time, he loves to cook both southern and Vietnamese cuisine and enjoys hiking his way through California’s amazing nature trails!
