“Dr Stamer is very professional and gentle and listens to you when you are talking and answers your questions. I don't feel rushed when talking and he always says to call the #s posted on cabinet in his office instead of calling the main #. However, when I called for this appointment, I didn't get a callback as to his availability which caused me to keep calling until someone answered and told me I had to wait until October for an appointment when I was experiencing severe knee pain and that the Dr was booked solid this particular day. I eventually was able to get his nurse on the phone who took my information and talked to Dr who said to come in at 1:30 pm which I did. I thanked him for squeezing me in at the last minute. Otherwise I have no problem with Dr. I know he is very busy but he took the time to see me thank God. I could never have waited until October with the pain I was having.”

About Dr. David Stamer

Dr. Stamer is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who has been practicing in the Mid-Hudson Valley since 1994. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and received his Doctor of Medicine from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. He completed his internship and residency at Rutgers as well. Dr. Stamer enjoys both the non-surgical and surgical treatment of a wide range of orthopedic conditions and injuries involving the knee, hip, shoulder, and hand. His areas of expertise include total hip replacement with robotic assistance, total and partial knee replacement with robotic assistance, same-day surgery total joint replacement, knee and shoulder arthroscopy, fracture care, and reverse total shoulder replacement.
