"Dr. Dayana Pereira is a compassionate and detail-oriented optometrist dedicated to helping patients see their best and protect their eye health at every stage of life. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University and has advanced training in the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases, including glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and dry eye. Before joining AEG Vision, Dr. Pereira served as the sole optometrist in a medical-surgical practice, where she cared for patients before and after eye surgeries such as cataract and refractive procedures. She is also skilled in fitting specialty contact lenses and tailoring treatment plans to each patient's unique needs. Dr. Pereira is fluent in English and Spanish, and she can also perform comprehensive eye exams in Portuguese. She takes pride in creating a welcoming environment for patients of all backgrounds and is passionate about building long-term relationships with her patients and their families. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and exploring new places"
