Getting to know Dr. Deborah Orr
I have over 40 years of experience in helping adults to cope with addictions, trauma and abuse, depression, chronic medical issues and the impact these experiences have on individuals and their loved ones. I am licensed as a clinical psychologist as well as an RN. I am a certified recovery coach professional. I have significant experience with issues related to the military, as well as extensive experience working in medical hospitals, clinics, correctional settings, and residential mental health treatment programs. I work with people to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Skills and resilience are built upon this foundation. If you will commit to being as authentic and transparent as possible, I will do the same. My primary approach is cognitive behavioral therapy. Taking the first step to explore therapy takes courage and a willingness to explore one's own part in healing. Welcome to the process.
