I have supported individuals with anxiety, depression, mood disorder, grief, and navigating life transitions. I also have experiencing working with individuals who are experiencing chronic illness and working with their caregivers on how to support them.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I utilize a variety of therapy techniques to support you in navigating your concerns and challenges, including mindfulness and other coping skills. I collaborate with you to develop resources and tools to assist you in managing your concerns and developing goals. I work with you on solution focused, interpersonal and cognitive based strategies. Working with you and utilizing these strategies are used to help you learn how to support you through making decisions and manage life transitions.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

At your first session we will move at your pace. This session is to get to know each other and to develop your goals for therapy. I will walk you through the therapeutic process, expectations, and answer any questions you may have. I will ask questions to get to know you and explore the emotions that are happening. Future sessions focus on exploring the issue further and what works for you.
