About Dr. Denisa Ferastraoaru
Dr. Denisa Ferastraoaru is Assistant Professor of Medicine in Allergy and Immunology and attending physician at Einstein/ Montefiore and Jacobi Medical Centers.
Dr. Ferastraoaru is board certified in both pediatric and adult Allergy /Immunology and Internal Medicine. She received her medical degree at Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania. She completed an Internal Medicine residency at Jacobi Medical Center followed by her Allergy/Immunology fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center.
Dr. Ferastraoaru treats both adults and children for a multitude of allergic disorders, including environmental and food allergies, asthma, urticaria, atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis. She has special clinical interests in allergic rhinitis and chronic rhinosinusitis and she serves as the Co-Director of the Chronic Sinusitis Center at Montefiore Medical Center.

The allergist herself was amazing. Such a great listener and so knowledgeable. I was not impressed by the check in staff. I was not greeted when I walked in and had to ask if I could get checked in. Other than that, I would recommend to a friend.

The appointment sent me to an office that is only opened on Fridays on a Wednesday. I showed up to the office that the appt was set up on Zocdoc and thank God someone was on site to help me and let me know o should've been at another location. Even after the confirmation texts no one from the office told me I should've been in the Bronx and not Tarrytown. I had to drive another 30min to the Bronx almost and hour after my appt.
