Whether you're a young adult navigating the workforce or an older adult facing new challenges, I'm dedicated to exploring your unique set of issues to help you achieve your desired goals. As a cognitive-behavioral psychologist, I believe in the power of understanding and changing thought patterns to improve emotional well-being. My approach is collaborative and empathetic, focusing on your strengths and resilience. Throughout my career, I've worked in various settings, including rehabilitation, long-term care, and corporate environments, bringing a wealth of real-world experience to our sessions. I specialize in addressing anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement, life transitions, OCD, stress, and suicidal ideation or self-harming behaviors. My work also extends to helping individuals with borderline personality disorder and those experiencing major psychological challenges due to long-term illness. Additionally, I offer SonderMind Video Telehealth sessions for those who prefer or require remote support. My background includes founding Silverwood Associates, a consulting firm where I supported internal talent through coaching, counseling, and career guidance. I've also served as a supervisor of assessment services at Vocational Guidance Services, leading a team of counselors working with individuals with disabilities impacting their ability to work. My experience as a consultant for Ohio Social Security and participation in claims hearings and appeals have further enriched my understanding of the complexities people face. In my work with companies, I've designed succession planning systems and developed programs for feedback, coaching, and development. I strive to match the right people to the right roles and have been a trusted advisor to leadership teams in both small and large organizations. My goal is to help you navigate life's challenges and achieve success in your endeavors. Everyone faces issues throughout their lives, and it's how we handle them that defines our success.
