The doctor was very informative and helpful in answering my questions. She offered several Ophthalmologist's for follow up on the macular she could not see clearly to assure there is no further concerns. The appt shows up as being a VSP in-network provider. They aren’t. It also isn’t clear, but this is a lenscrafter location. The office actually claimed they don’t use Zocdoc and were unaware of the status of the in network VSP advertisement. Ultimately they agreed to do my appt anyway for a small copay, but then tried to charge me more at the end. Unfortunately I think this will eat into the benefits I have with VSP if I am to use another provider, and yet I wasn’t able to receive my full benefits, and I paid more. The staff was very defensive about the whole matter. There was another patient in there with the same issue - bait and switch on advertising for VSP but then not taking it. Avoid this location.
